  1. We got the print ad (amazing as we usually don't get them) and our prices in the print add were the $488 each. Now I have a question, if I print the online ad off and then do a "print screen" showing that it is my store that they are showing those prices for, does Wal-Mart have to honor it? I did not want this PC, BUT since I am anti Wal-Mart, I was thinking of spreading some "holiday cheer" by passing out copies of the online ad and print screen to those waiting in line thinking that they are getting the PCs for $488.
  2. I have not seen any sales on it. The closest thing to a deal I have found is this http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/257105.asp It is still $49.99, but you do get a free t-shirt and their "super saver" shipping is like $2.50. We have an XBOX and GameCube. I have been looking for deals on this one, Prince of Persia:Two Thrones, America's Army, Fire Emblem, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Republic Commando for a month or so now. I knew POP:TH, America's Army and Fire Emblem were a no go since one is not out until 11/29 and the other two are new. I was hoping for a used copies, but EB told me even with used they would be marked 44.99, so I might as well just buy new.
  3. Probably significantly more than I am getting now believe it or not. LOL We just got a new puppy and he can SCREAM ALL NIGHT LONG from the kennel, so even my 3 or 4 hours of sleep on Thursday night will seem like a full night's sleep at this point.
  4. They have updated our weather and I have to say.... OMG I'm going to freeze my arse off! LOL Thu Nov 24 Partly Cloudy 55°/25° 20% chance of rain Fri Nov 25 Mostly Sunny 49°/22°
  5. all of the above except gift card. I'll use whatever payment I have to to get the deal. LOL
  6. Just checked mine. It will be... Thu Nov 24 Mostly Cloudy 56°/37° 10% chance of rain Fri Nov 25 Mostly Cloudy 61°/40° 10% chance of rain
  7. It is actually just "Sam's Club" that will have the free breakfast trolley, if I understand this correctly. Sam's Club, a division of Wal-Mart (Research), will open stores at 5 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving and roll out a free breakfast trolley to its members. Interesting way to get people in though. Wonder if BB will have one too. LOL
  8. I have an eTrex Legend (blue one, not the yellow on sale) and I like it, but never really use it. the few times I have used it, it was easy to use and you can D/L maps and coords. for it, but I don't know how or where. I think I did use it just to see how far it was from our house to my DHs aunt's house last Thanksgiving. LOL
  9. BB desktop for my boys. They are in need of a new computer. We figure we can add on some memory and a wireless network card and still come out with a good school PC for them, for under $300.00. I'm crossing my fingers for us all that we get the things we really need!
  10. This article in a way reminds me of the "hay day" of the online freebie or unbelievable deal (which I REALLY miss). The B&M stores, media, etc., were saying then those types of things were too good to be true and buyer beware. Which, to their defense, is usually the case, BUT in those cases and this one... It is good and it is true and "you" (the media) are just jealous "you" didn't get in first, so Ms. Amanda Lutz. LOL AND on a side note, I have been here for a year. I know I signed up last year here AND came back later, but for some reason my user name was not "recognized," so I had to re-sign up. I used this site 100% as a "head start" on what I was going to go for, but still bought the paper on Thursday to have them in hand when I went to the stores. These sites do not take away from the media, but give us another way to "game plan" for the day. This article seemed to be knocking this site and others because they are in "competition" with each other, when in fact they are both valuable resources for the "big day." I hate it when the media attacks something they think is "moving in" on their turf.
  11. Lat year we were at Office Depot at like 5:30 and were within the first 10 people. This year I am not sure when I need to get in line. Maybe you guys could help me figure that out. I want to try for the desktop at Best Buy. This is our first year with Best Buy and we live close to a semi-small city. MOST of the time people go to the mall and Wal-Mart. What are the odds of most of them heading towards Best Buy this year? What time do I need to get started this year in your opinion?
  12. They are so cool to me. LOL They had beautiful flatware CHEAP! It was heavy, kinda like the WMF (which is a high priced brand in Germany), but a fraction of the price. AND they had a beautiful sleigh bed w/ "Swedish Memory Foam" mattress for like 299 or 399 euro and it was a king! I asked if they would ship stuff here, if I bought it there and they said No. I know some of the duty free stores would like the place we usually get our mercury glass ornaments when we are there, but because IKEA had stores here, they would not. I tried to reason with them that the closest was 5 1/2 hours away from me... didn't work. LOL
  13. We don't have any of these either, but I think if I did, I would want LnT.
  14. Don't know how far Pittsburg is from you, but DC is 5 1/2 hours from us! LOL I went to a HUGE IKEA when I was in Bremen, Germany last year and just really "fell in love" with that store. All the stuff was cool and cheap even without BF!
  15. OOOO that would be good too. We just got an Old Navy, Best Buy, Target, Petsmart.. etc. I always did Old Navy online, never thought about going to the store on BF. Add Old Navy to my "want to see" list too! LOL
  16. I'd like to see Office Depot. We had a great time there last year and actually got everything on our list with no problems.
  17. AH! Didn't know that. I thought they were still in competition. Thanks for the info!
  18. Are the lists the exact same? I see that they are identical. OR did I miss something that is different on the lists? I have been know to miss things. LOL
