Hubby is going to shampoo the carpet and put up the tree sometime this week or this weekend. Next week after he gets paid I am going to finish all my shopping and get the gifts wrapped. Also need to mail the cards. Got them all addressed, just waiting on pictures of the kids to put in them.

I haven't even bought all of the gifts yet, much less wrapped them. I like to wrap them all at once so that it is easier for me to see if I have missed something. Hubby is planning on putting the tree up probably this weekend. I want him to shampoo the carpet first and my cousin's wife has my carpet cleaner because she had the same idea, get hubby to shampoo rugs then do tree! :)

I know exactly what you mean. I managed to go through a bundle just getting my DD8 and DD20months the cutest clothes for xmas. I just kept seeing all this cute stuff that I couldn't resist because it was on a really good sale so I just had to buy it. Before I knew it I had blown through my whole xmas budget and had hardly gotten any toys. So now next week when hubby gets paid (last check b4 xmas) I have to rush out and try to find a few toys to even it all up!

Sounds like my DD#2(20 months old). She is always finding DD#1's gameboy and carrying it around trying to play it. Well one time she got mad and threw it in the toilet! DD#1 came screaming and cring that her sister had broke her gameboy! So lucky me got to dig it out of the toilet, clean it up with Lysol wipes and a towel and let it dry. Believe it or not, it still works! She also got ahold of my Nextel cell phone one day and dropped it in a glass of water and believe it or not, it still works too!

Wow! I'd love to find milk around here for $1.99 a gallon. I live in VA. I went to my local Food Lion tonight and paid $3.49 a gallon.

I'm hoping that my MIL will keep the kids so that I can drag hubby with me to do the driving. If I go by myself I will have to drive his big old 1979 F-250 since my car threw a rod back in July. I would much rather have him fight the traffic than me having to worry about it. Even though I won't have as much room for stuff with him along!

Will probably go out to eat. Then go home.

We will be shopping either in Culpeper, VA or Charlottesville VA. Depends on what ads strike my fancy. Who knows, maybe we'll even hit both!
