Can anyone tell me about touch screen laptops? My 11 year old son wants one but he doesn't know anything about them and neither do I. I'd like to get him one as his main present but I don't want to spend more than $500 and I'd like for it to have decent memory and the like. Thanks!

I have the old version of the fire and 3 year old and 10 year old both love it. I bought my now 3 year old the Leap pad last year which he rarely plays with unless I mention it over and over again. One will have my iPhone and the other the Kindle Fire rather than playing with the kid version of anything. And I have parental control set up so before any purchase can be completed so I don't have to worry about purchases I didnt agree to. I also have a protective case on it and haven't had any issues.

Get well soon. Nothing is more important than your health so always take care of yourself.

Does anyone know how these games compare to the "apps" you can download for the Leap Pad? I bought the Leap Pad for my youngest son but my oldest son had a Leapfrog Explorer and the game which the youngest plays with. I am wondering it is worth it to try to keep up cartridges if I can just download something very similar on the Leap Pad. Thanks.

I too need a dsi xl; let's hope that TRU will have it and then Amazon will price match!

So far, I have thought of 2 items. I would love a Michael Kors watch and to upgrade my iPhone 3GS to a 4GS. I would rather see my kids get the things that they would love and I can always get what I want later as they only get major gifts for their birthdays and Christmas.

It wasn't in the early edition of the Sunday paper I got on Saturday nor did I see it in my local Target this morning. The Target Sunday ad says that it will be available on Tuesday in the Holiday Toy Catalog and on target.com/toyscatalog.

No problem. This board has been great to me so it is great to contribute.

Cash, Credit, Debit, Check, Giftcard... How will you be paying on BF?
nisha98 replied to AudreyNicole's topic in 2009
Looks like I'm only going to Target (and maybe Toys R Us for non doorbusters) so I'll take cash so I can only buy what is on my list. Hopefully there are some great online deals from Amazon that I will use my amazon card that is used solely for amazon purchases and paid off. -

The Leapfrog Alphabet Pal has a coupon for $10 off in the Target toy book so if Target matches the price, one could get it for $0.49. I've never tried to price match in Target and totally forgot to ask about it in the store I was in today. But I'll go late Friday or early Sunday and give it a try. Thanks.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2009
nisha98 replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Went to Target after work today and found: ###030-09-0971 Sealy Natural Rest crib mattress $19.98 was $79.98 I was so thrilled I didn't check on Christmas items but the majority of baby's clothes, boppy covers, etc. was still 30% off although some baby toys were 50%. I'll keep stalking the baby's department until it goes to 50% off. Has anyone else seen clearance in the baby's department go to 50% yet? -
Amazon Leapfrog Cartridges
nisha98 replied to gkaussietykes4's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I ordered 2 on this past Saturday (Go Diego Go and Kindergarten) and was originally given a shipping date of 12/7 - 1/3 and I was sent a shipping confirmation on Sunday that they are already on their way with an estimated arrival date of November 24th. So I think they are trying really hard to exceed shipping expectations. -
My local newspaper had a $10 coupon off of $50 purchase. So check yours; might make it worth your while.

Sprint phone for existing customer!
nisha98 replied to tuparker's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
If you are willing to sign a new 2 year contract, look in the Sunday papers for ads from Best Buy or similar stores. I got a red razr phone for free the last week in November by watching the ad and going into Best Buy. I had a very old phone so it was great to get a cool new one without paying a cent. -
I have a somewhat stupid question - how do you actually spend the ecbs? I have about $50 but I don't really understand how you actually pay for your goods with it - is it limited to certain items? Thanks!

DS4 Hungry, Hungry Hippo Chutes & Ladders/Candyland Silly 6 Pins remote control helicopter Fisher Price digital camera Magastik and Magnimals 2 LeapPad books LeapPad Whammer a few books a few stocking stuffers - Spongebob bath fizzie, small dinosaurs, etc. I still want to get him a remote control Hummer, case to Fisher price camera, Cars DVD, dinosaur that roars and a table/chair set for arts & crafts. I've never started this early before (I may have to work on BF) so I'm worried that I'll keep picking up things everytime I'm in Target, Walmart, or ToysRUs.:)

We got our matching red flannels with snowflakes (I think) from The Children's Place last year.
