I usually make up little goody bags for Halloween & Christmas.

Mine are 6 and 8 1/2 (9 in Dec.) and neither one has ever questioned it. I'm not looking forward to that day...

I agree that the layout of the store is horrible!

Limits are a good and necessary thing!

We get ours delivered. It'll probably be out in the box by 5:30am.

Bathroom breaks are one thing, but I don't think it's right when two people are "holding" four places in line.

Unless you are occupying four places in line the entire time, to me that would be "cutting", especially when your place in line may determine whether or not you get a particular item.

This will be my second year!

We are very fortunate in that our cat doesn't bother with the tree at all!

Last year I made a delicious overnight French toast from a recipe that Gator Pam posted. This year I'm going to try another one of hers!

No way! That is one of my biggest pet peeves!! I like putting everything back in order after the holidays.

We open presents first, then have breakfast. The kids usually don't each much on Christmas morning anyway; I let them indulge in whatever treats they find in their stockings.

Just two -- one for each of my daughters.

I hide everything in the basement. I keep a list for each kid of what's been bought and how much I paid for it. I use special tags for their Santa gifts and write them in very fancy handwriting.

We put pumpkins and mums out by the front door and on the porch steps. The rest of the outside decorations are Halloween themed.

Not a ton. We keep it simple and tasteful. We also like to put up things that are easy to dismantle, because that's the part we hate!

I don't have anything to re-gift.

It usually works out to be around $200-$250 per child (we have 2). We don't set a dollar amount, we just get them what they want and/or what we want them to have.

I love Macintosh and Christmas Cookie by Yankee Candle.

On Black Friday. We also have a radio station that plays it continuously from then on.

If I get around to baking for my own family, I'm doing good.

Probably Toys R Us first, then Target.

I love wrapping presents, except for those oddly shaped items that are hard to wrap.

I don't use layaway, so it doesn't affect me. A lot of people depend on it, though. It's a shame they're doing away with it.

I make a few different things, but I don't go nuts. I always make fudge though.
