Would love to have the directions on making the bookmarks - is it something you buy and add to it or make it totally from scratch. I am always looking for nice bookmarks to give with books and can never find any nice ones.

You have to go through the whole process off putting them in your cart, choose your shipping address, form of payment and then on review order look up in the upper right hand corner and it should show the accurate total before you submit.

Couldn't get this to work for me

I got our Elf On A Shelf back in 2007 and ordered directly from the company that makes them. I too, waited until last minute and paid a bit more to get it shipped to have it before Christmas and it came in a really nice box with the elf and book. My dd starts talking about "Buddy" (our elf) before Thanksgiving and I put him up on the shelf the day after Thanksgiving and move him each night after she goes to bed so he is in a different spot the next day. He is so well loved here!!! It is a great idea!!!

Sweet! Keep them young while you can!! My kids are into legos too. DD 16 even still likes them. I did get the Troll warship at Target on bf for ds 11 and was happy but now youngest dd 7 wants brickbeard's bounty. I signed up ds 11 for the lego club where you get the packs every other month - he really liked getting mail throughout the year. I will have to check into the brickarms and the design ones - sounds neat. I love how creative these kids can get with their legos.

Bought my dd this last Christmas: Canon PowerShot SD1100IS 8MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom from amazon for 149. Nothing to complain about with this, it is great!

Did you guys notice the spend 80 in games get 40 future credit on games. Same as a buy one get?

My dh and I go every black friday - it's his favorite day to shop!! We have been going for at least 15 years. I stay up all night scouring the gotta deal site, mapping our plan of attack - ordering what I need to online while everyone else sleeps! Our oldest dd has been coming with us for the last couple years, she never lets me forget waiting in line at Target and telling her which item she needed to hurry up and go get and when the doors open there goes her mom - running past her like a crazy lady - she talks about it every time someone mentions black friday! We go even if the ads aren't all that great - it's tradition!
