I am in the middle of nowhere, I have a walmart and a radioshack, everything else is over an hour away.

We were walking through Walmart and he picks up a portable DVD player and says I would love one of these. Why couldn't he have thought that BEFORE BF? I know nothing about them and don't know where to start! Any one know of any good ones on sale? They don't have to be great, but I don't want a piece of crap either. He wants it for the nights he is out of town and is forced to stay in a hotel that only gets 3 channels!

I beleive they were good for up to 3 days last year, and I remember reading somewhere they were only good for BF this year. Sorry you didn't get to use it, that really sucks.

My huddy decorated the whole outside for me and then bought me home a tree and roses as a suprise! Gonna decorate the tree today when everyone gets home.

We do that too, of course my kids usually try to buy me things like diamond necklaces and such!

I decided to get my 9 year old daughter an MP3 player, I figured she would love one, I know I would have at her age. Yesterday her brother mentioned something about an MP3 player and she says to me Mom, I hope you didn't buy me one of those for Christmas, I'm only 9 and I'm not responsible enough, I know I would lose it because they are so small. I almost feel off my chair!! Guess I can give it to my neice, she really wants one badly. And I swore that was the perfect gift!
