They told me 21 days but I had mine in about 8 days.

I've just recently started and was wondering if this is common.... I get an email telling me The Rebate Promotion center has received your submission for a rebate promotion. We unfortunately are unable to verify your qualification for the offer online. To redeem your rebate you may mail ALL of the required redemption materials to the Rebate Promotion Center Resubmission Department. Which is bull, I did send everything, and made copies of everything. So I send them an email. Right after I send the email I get this Rebate Promotions.com recently sent out an email informing you that we were unable to validate your rebate. This was incorrect, and we apologize. Your rebate status is still available at Rebate Promotions.com. If you have already received your rebate check, please disregard both notices. I should have my check tomorrow. I was just curious if there is anything special you do to be better prepared incase you are denied.

Did you get it cheaper on BF than it is right now? And you could always try to return the MP3 player and just rebuy to get the gift card. I have returned anything in a BestBuy so I know nothing about their return policy.
