    Annual Bears

I get them, the day after xmas when they are 50% off
  2. Last year I got one and so did my husband, we were the first 2 in line:D
  3. I think you could possibly get a better deal on BF.....anyone else?
  4. Well hello to you too!
  5. Usually it's gifts I have made for someone that have deep emotional meaning. Like the book I had made for my aunt last year, that had photos of her, and many people in our family that passed years ago. She didn't even know these pictures existed, some were taken more than 40 & 50 years ago. It really was a touching moment for all of us, I still get emotional when I think about it. But...... This year I'm very excited about getting my daughter her own Baritone and my son a drum set, even though I'm sure I am going to regret it about 20 minutes after they open them.
  6. I say no to the ones that could go themselves, they just don't want to be bothered. I never say no to those that are elderly or disabled, even though sometimes it can be a royal pain the ass.
  7. I'm always nice to the preggy ones on BF;)
  8. Doh, I didn't even realize there was more than one type. What is the difference between them?
  9. Well aren't you the helpful little baritone player! She plays very well, you can actually tell what songs she is playing now. If she sticks with this instrument into high school, I wouldn't hesitate at all to buy her a good one. She wants me to talk to the band teacher, she wants to take 2 instruments, I don't know if that is even possible, unless she takes a string and plays in the orchestra and the band. You are the only person I have EVER come across that played the baritone.
  10. I just sent him a message through ebay, hopefully he replies:tongue1:
  11. How do I know if a beginner quality horn is right for her? I wouldn't hesitate to buy that one for her.
  12. Yeah I don't get that either......
  13. Shes 10 years old, this is her 2nd year of playing the baritone. I've already spent 476.00 renting one (which is in terrible condition). I will be able to get a refund for the rest of the year if I return it. Since she is only 10, I don't want to spend that kind of money on an instrument. I dont want her to feel like she can't switch insturments if she wants to try something new. And if we paid 2K for a baritone, I wouldn't be very happy if she wanted to change instruments!
  14. Thanks for explaining that to me, guess I will stay on top of it and try to buy it.
  15. I did notice the shipping, but this instrument in its case is HUGE so i didn't think 45.00 was bad.......... Also do you know what the NR stands for at the end of the title?
  16. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280038022037 My daughter plays this instrument, we have been renting 1 for 238.00 a year, the cheapest one we've been able to find was over 2,000.00. How can this one on ebay be so cheap? Am I missing something? Thanks for you help:D
  17. I have had netflix and blockbuster and found I got the netflix movies in 1-3 days. Where with blockbuster it would take 5+ days.
  18. I don't like them at all........If a child were to sneak on your property and use it without your knowledge and get hurt, you are liable.
  19. On Christmas Day it's usually just the 4 of us at dinner. But right before Christmas I have 30 of my relatives over for dinner, and my lord is that rough! But I do enjoy it:D
  20. Gee I wonder if NY will follow suit:rolleyes:
  21. I wish you the best of luck, my cat never gets in the tree, but she cant resist the urge to bat the balls off the tree.
  22. My husband removes the extension cords after Xmas so they CAN"T be pugged in. I mentioned once I thought about plugging them in on the 4th of July......apparenlty he wasn't down with that:D
  23. LOL! I couldn't agree more:D
  24. We eat after
