I have always done it through email, and I mean alot, I've done price adjustments there over 100 times and have never been denied. At least they corrected over the phone for me, and I love the CALL ME feature on their website.

Price-matching isnt the same as price adjustment. Price matching would be when you call them and say Best Buy has something adverstised cheaper than you, and then you get it for that price. Price adjustment is when the price goes down right after you buy something, I don't know of any stores that don't do price adjustments.

I have always had prices adjusted at Amazon and never had a problem. I had ordered that mongoose bike that was offered in the Amazon vote, it was 99.00.
