Anyone else notice a lot of these movies were in last years same sale? I bought some of them then.
Yes, I noticed that too! Friends, Sex and the City, Mad Men, Gilmore Girls... I don't see many on the list that I have to have this year. I bought then all last year. :)

Does the Kindle Fire allow you to download books from the library? I have a Nook, but I am seriously considering the Fire. My girls would love it. Thank you for any input!

Looks like amazon will be offering something similar to this laptop in one of their 10 AM PST lightning deals today. I bought one of these last year during their lightning deals over Tgiving weekend. We have been very happy with it!

This explains my email that I received from HP yesterday explaining that they would not have any more touchpad inventory. They inferred that some retailers might have the inventory, but they did not mention which retailers.

I have NEVER seen a free shipping code. They will sometimes offer some items with free shipping, but it is fairly rare. Most of the time, by the time I add the shipping costs, the item isn't a great value.

Yes, Home Goods is owned by the same company that owns TJ Maxx and Marshalls. One of our TJ Maxx stores is called TJ Maxx and More. It has the regular TJ Maxx with a smaller scale Home Goods included in the store. They never have sales or specials unless something is marked down through clearance. Sometimes clearance will be on an endcap or it could be an entire aisle. Once something has a yellow sticker, it is the final clearance price.
If you see something at Home Goods that you like, don't wait to buy it. Chances are it will be gone when you go back to get it. I have learned that the hard way. Just take it back if you decide you don't want it. Their return policy is 30 days for cash/cc refund. After 30 days, you may only get a gift card when you make a return.
I love Home Goods. The regular sized-store is about an hour away from me, so I don't get there often. It's most likely a good thing. I have a linen and dish addiction. :) What all did you buy? They have great prices on rugs! I love the lamps, pictures, and gift items too.
I have the TJ Maxx credit card, so I get points for spending in the store as well as other places. I get gift certificates in the mail with my credit card statement. I have had the credit card about 3 years, and I have only received ONE coupon around Labor Day this year. I think it was 10% off when I spent $100 or more. There is a senior day each week, so look into that to see if you can take someone along to buy the stuff, and then you can reimburse them. I believe that the Sr discount is 10%.
Ask the Home Goods employees what days the delivery trucks bring the new merchandise. It is great to shop on the days that the new stuff hits the floor before it gets picked over.

OF course its not available within a 100 miles of me. I hate living in the boondocks. Nothing is around here and you have to drive miles to get to anything!!!
I had 10 stores within 25 miles of me, and none of them had the flip video camera. Enjoy living in the boondocks. I bet you have a lot less traffic.

Once you click on the link of the "item locator", to check for availability, just change the zip code (make sure the state is correct... since I'm from NJ it might show up so it needs to be cleared to show your location). It wont show in the website at all by sku and when you search by name you get the newer model.

It does say that (not sure why) but in the address bar it includes the SKU 897581. This is how I found the two that I purchased.
I have tried keying in the SKU number, but it says its not valid. What screen was pulled up to enter the sku? When I pull up the store, I am not seeing a screen that lets me enter the SKU number. When I enter the SKU on the website, it says its invalid. I am missing a step somewhere along the way.

OMG.....the 1st dollhouse and the rocketship posted a bit ago are too cute. I emailed bff a link to both since I can't go crazy this year and already have stuff for her kids(my gs and honorary niece). Mia already has the barbie 3 story house but as Max loves to play with it, I think the rocketship would be perfect for him. PLUS it would make daddy feel better since he is a little worried by his son emulating his daughter
I saw them, and it made me wish that my girls were younger instead of teenagers. :) It was so much easier to shop for my girls when they were younger.

Costco usually carries AG books in the fall. Some are the regular AG reading books, and others are the activity type books or puzzles. The prices are very good compared to the AG website. I got one of the dogs last year with the book. They are adorable. We had to put our cocker spaniel named Honey to sleep, and believe it or not, they had a cocker spaniel named Honey.

Did anyone ever hear back from amazon when the order was canceled from "onsale"? I just did an online chat, and there is still no resolution. It seems like this customer service rep said something different than my phone conversation last week.

This is hilarious! It is exactly how I feel. I couldn't ever get the checkout to work on the HP website, and amazon cancelled my order.

Just got off the phone with amazon. Customer service was no help. Usually, amazon will bend over backwards to help with an issue, but this rep wasn't the most helpful. She did say that they have a "team" looking into the problem and the vendor just had too many orders. OK, they had too many orders, but why did they wait 3 days to cancel an order? I was actually supposed to receive the tablet tomorrow (or at least that was the first delivery date listed on my confirmation). I am so disappointed with amazon and its reseller. I guess I put too much trust in amazon b/c I thought they would stand behind the reseller. Lesson learned.

Well, the 32gb that I ordered from an amazon seller on Sunday just got cancelled.
That was after trying all day to be able to check out on HP. Darn. If anyone ends up with an extra, I would be more than willing to pay reimburse you for your time and gas to mail the tablet...This was going to be the perfect birthday gift for my DD in September.

I bought two this afternoon from HP when the threads were telling everyone that HP had sold out. The key to getting them was to log onto HP website and get into their "small & medium business" buying page. They had the 32g listed for $149.00 and they were still in stock. My husband has a very small business so I was able to purchase 2 of them. I do not know if the business name was required for my purchase, but, I entered a name and wala....purchase went through like clockwork.
I have been trying and trying since 10am to buy the tablet. It is in my cart, but it won't let me checkout. i have refreshed about 1000 times. It is so frustrating!

just wondering how come the 5 qt mixers are so much more expensive than the 4.5 qt. does it matter?
Unless you are constantly making double batches of cookies, you could easily be very happy with a 4.5 qt mixer. If you find a great deal on the 5 qt, then grab it, but the 4.5 qt is a great mixer also.
. I hope other Onsale/
