Just a friendly reminder that all layaways have to be out at walmart, according to last name (at mine), by Dec. 15th. I went today and avoided the rush. My son has his laptop in his room but I wont let him open it. He is okay with that as long as I dont hide it or take it away. :) I have joked that I was going to take it out of the box and I was getting it instead. lol He did not find it funny. I was worried after reading thread about somebody's layaway getting lost, that mine might. But I had that big smile when they opened that box and there it was. But what concerned me was they announced what was in the box and with only me and my son I was paranoid about walking out with it and other boxes in my cart. But all worked out. :) Sorry I am rambling, Just thought I would drop a note. :)

We will be traveling to Texas but it is only a couple hundred miles away, nothing like your travel. Be safe and have a great time. :)

I still have quite a few to buy for some are just gift cards but others I have no idea what to get 'em. Guess I better go looking, lol. My layaway is still at walmart too, must get it out Wednesday. That is my payday so that will work out luckily. :)

I got the adapter at Circuit City. It is the Kensington. It came with the tip to work for the wamart BF lappy. It was listed on here not too long ago. It is regular like 120 but was on sale for 18.Model # 33173. So it has the card so all I need is to get DSL??? Lucky child,huh??? My computer is a mid 90's model and may go out anytime, and slow. You cant imagine. You can click on a page then go start laundry and come back and maybe it will be there. lol Of course I have dial up and that surely does not help.

I am also hooked and I just leave mine online all the time so I can walk by and check if anything new at any moment. :) I need to get other things done but sometimes I just cant leave this chair. Keep the deals coming.

How do you make the BF lappy wireless? I want to be able to take it and use it elsewhere and be online, what do I need to do???? I have not even opened the computer because it is christmas present so I know nothing about it. I hope my son loves it. I bought the car adapter for $18 because I was not sure of the battery life. I am sure this is not difficult to do but need help. Thx

Not sure who all knows what I am talking about but here goes. Krocks are shoes made out of plastic-like material you slip on. they have holes in the part that cover your foot. I saw a lady wearing a pair that were orange and looked like a basketball. (with black lines over foot part) Hope I am not confusing everyone. :) Would love to get a pair for family member that coaches basketball and she has every other color. Thx for reading.

I told everyone not to buy me anything and just buy for someone else on the angel tree here in town. I always ask for a day of no arguing. I would love a new ceremic tile floor in my living room, but oh well I have done without everything up to this put and so I dont need it now. :) Oh, I did ask for stuff for my sons kart that he races but everybody refused to buy me a tire or something like that for Christmas, oh well it was worth a try. :)

I have wanted to do a bandana western themed tree. i saw one at Graden Ridge several years ago and loved it but the nearest one is an hour away. Maybe I could just make the stuff instead of buying it. Any ideas??? ohhhhh, this is my 100th post, woohoo!!!!!

I would also like to get the info on the school santa shop, I am the secretary for the PTO and would like to present this so that we can get involved. My son bought me a bear necklace for the shop at our old school and I never took it off after he gave it to me in the 2nd grade, it finally broke last year, after 4 years, and it was made out of pewter so I could not have it fixed by jeweler. I was hurt broken it was my favorite gift of all time. Maybe he could get me a new one this way. :)

I bought 2 of these for my two kids and I was also curious how the computers worked since I wont know until Christmas. Any info on what you think and tips is greatly appreciated, since I have never had one and not very computer literate.

I did not get the Playskool Discovery Table either. Our Sears did not get them in. And Kmart did not have any. Oh well, I wanted the TRU LeapFrog Table and was going to PM at Walmart but did not get th TRU ad. It will be alright. :) I had a really good time.

Me and my 12 yr old son got to walmart at 12pm and stood in line for the laptops and did get 2 of the them. Yes we walked around the store with 2 and yes I was in layaway. I have 2 children and we waited 5 hours for them. I do not care what anyone thinks. We were 2 people and came early for what we wanted and got what we wanted. If I would have needed more I would have brought more people, because if you have more than 1 child you cant just buy one child a laptop. You have to be equal and fair. (in my opinion) If you dont like them getting items then you should have got there earlier to get yours. Somebody's financial issues have NOTHING to do with you and everybody should be treated as equals.
