  1. I saw Aussie hair products marked down to $1.24 from between $2.50 and $3. This was in Bowie, Md. The products are bundled w/ a mini hairspray. There is a $1 Aussie coupon so that the 3 minute DEEEEEP conditioner was 24 cents for me.
  2. Hopefully shoppers responded in kind by not shopping as much. I waited until the last minute to shop, but the sales were not big enough to motivate me to do very much shopping. Also surprised by the lack of great day after doorbusters.
  3. Thanks - can you tell me where you found the ratings/ reviews for the Konka? I tried to purchase the 32" Westinghouse that was available at BB on Black Fri. for $480 today at its new price of $540, but no availability. I want to buy a 32" NLT Sunday.
  4. If you're planning to shop on Black Friday, lots of stores had extremely good deals on DVD sets that day to drive customers in to the store. That's how I started watching the Sex & the City, Chappelle show (season 2), South Park, & Family Guy because of the sale price on DVD sets the day after Thanksgiving. Target & Best Buy had the best deals on TV sets. I remeber even seeing 24 although I didn't buy it.
  5. I like WalMart because they are well stocked (not enough carts though) and they usually don't cut the doorbuster price off for hours past the time it's supposed to end.
  6. I think Big Lots was giving away free clocks if you were one of the first so we got those on Thanksgiving. Will do it again this year. I'm saving my money because I can't wait!
  7. Is anyone offering more than $3. I think one of the major office stores runs a $5 special from time to time.
  8. I just left CVS. If you have your Sunday coupons Palmolive is .88 each. Coupon is $1 off 2. Price after coupon =76 cents for 2 or 38 cents each.
  9. I have no knowledge of how this works but I hate my current land line provider - Verizon. They treat me like they're working to get rid of me as a customer. I would be love to switch to a better alternative as long as the customer service is good & it's reliable. Would I need cable TV or the internet or my computer to do this. I know this deal is dead, but next time it comes up.
  10. I am just that cheap or shouldn't a Christmas wreath be discounted more than 60% in the middle of summer. I can find a 60% off sale at any retail store today for an item that I won't have to wait 5 months to use.
  11. Really nice artifical flower arrangements drastically marked down at my Target yesterday. Looked to be about 60-75% off.
  12. I don't have a problem finding the items in stock at the Rite Aid I pass on my way to work, but their customer service leaves much to be desired. The 1st time I used the rebate program, the store had a malfunctioning cash register that was not printing the store address, transaction number, or the cash register number so it was useless for purposes of the rebate program. I had to return the items to the store & repurchase them & this took the cashier 30 mins. When I went to the store several weeks later, before I would allow someone to ring me at this same register I asked if it still had this problem. It did even though I had complained to the store manager & Rite Aid by email & their customer service line. I went back several weeks later & still the register was not fixed although I had complained again. They never bothered to offer any concession for all the time I wasted returning to the store & repurchasing the items. That's why I only purchase items from Rite Aid that are FAR or close to being free w/ the rebate & a coupon. I had a customer service issue w/ CVS a few months ago & I do have to give them credit, the regional mgr. & the 800 customer service line seemed to take it much more seriously than Rite Aid did w/ the issues I raised to them. I felt that it bordered on fraud to knowingly issue receipts w/o enough info. to obtain a rebate or even return an item & many people just would not have the time to make the effort I did. Anyway, that's my 2 cents on Rite Aid.
  13. Rite Aid has great rebate deals this week & their rebate program is extremely easy since you only need enter your receipt online to obtain your refund. The following items are Free After Rebate thru 5/6: Vanilla Listerine Rite Aid version of the Swifter Duster Oral B Battery Powered Toothbrush Softsoap Bodywash These items are free or under $1 AR if you have mfr. coupons: Reach Toothbrush Jet Dry Electrasol Shout Stain Remover Other Great Deals No Nonsense Hoisery B1G1 - They also have a $1 coupon & a $3 mfr rebate from inserts w/n the last few weeks; Scott Tissue - 4 rolls for 2.49 & $1 mfr. coupon = $1.50
  14. If any1 knows of Targets in the DC Metro area, would you please share? Like, the board members above, I'm just not seeing these kinds of deals. Thanks.
  15. I went to one CVS that had espresso machines & wooden wine racks priced w/ their Christmas items. Of course I purchased 8 espresso machines for $1.49 each. The wine racks would have been $1
  16. I went to a CVS that had a special 90% off Christmas items & espresso machines & wooden wine racks were included in the promotion. I think I'm addicted to bargain shopping because I have 8 espresso machines, that I paid $1.49 each for in my trunk. I went to another CVS looking for the machines & they were still $15.
  17. Thanks. I had a $10 Disney GC that I really did not have much use for, so I used it here. Be forewarned that shipping on this item is high - about $7.50.
  18. Does anyone have a good link to the rebate form for this one?
  19. This is great. I just ordered 2 sets & they cost me less than 1 set would usually cost.
  20. Isn't this odd - they added 15% instead of discounting 15%. I sent an email to customer support & I'm waiting to hear from them. A great deal. Thanks to the poster! Sku Product Qty Price Status 40709094 King of the Hill: The Complete Fourth Season 1 $24.99 Processing Discounts / Promotions 15% F&F 2005 - Music, Movies, Books, Electronics $0.00 $3.75 Subtotal $21.24 (Budget) Shipping Charges $2.98 Tax $1.21 Total $29.18
  21. Is this an LCD? I'd be very interested. Is it an HD ready? When it's HD ready vs. HD how much extra will I have to pay to get the HD picture?
  22. This thread is extremely helpful. Just purchased my first home - a small condo. and would like to wall mount a LCD. w/ a moving extendable arm in the living room dining room - about 26 inches, w/ either a speaker stand style pole, & a wall mount in my bedroom (about 32 inches ), & a 3rd for a media room (between 32 & 42 inches), so eventually I'd like to purchase 3 LCD HDTVs, but I'm starting w/ whatever the best value for my money is on BF. Does anyone know of a place that has those skinny pole style stands that hide the wires at a great price? The lowest I've seen is $500. I would like to wall mount all 3, but that seems to require quite a bit of damage to the wall.
