  1. 4th of July stuff went 90% off today in my local store. Got the boys striped shorts for $ .49 cents and denim shorts for $ .59 cents. Also sleeveless shirts that have a baseball on them for $ .49 cents. Neither has 4th of July on it, could be worn everyday.
  2. Anyone in AZ see the Britax Carseats on clearance for more than 30% off? I'm hoping to buy 2 of the Britax Marathon's at 50% off the regular price.
  3. At my local store the Britax Marathon's were marked down 30% to $188.xx but it was only the Brooke pattern. Awesome deal for a seat that harnesses to 65lbs.
  4. I called and spoke to the store managers before I went down and they were so nice about it. I did see the sign when I got to the store but since I had already spoken directly to the store managers I had the cashier call them over (as instructed by them over the phone) and they put the coupons through. No problems at all.
  5. I called and asked if I could use the coupon today since the store had been out. The two stores closest to me both said yes. The manager let me use 4 coupons at other first store (DH, DS4, DS3, & I each used a coupon) we got 2 Billy trains and 2 black & grey trains (can't remember the name). The manager of the other store was completely out of the $12.99 of less trains so he let us use 2 coupons on 1 Gordon ($22.99) and 2 on 1 Emily ($20.99) so they both came out free. My boys were so excited! These were the last few that we didn't have. It was also a Thomas & Friends play day at the stores. The kids each got a pack of collector cards, were able to color a Thomas picture, play trains on the Thomas train table, & listen to Thomas stories (they read Thomas books to the kids every half hour). They had so much fun!
  6. I went on Thursday and bought both my boys new clothes for when preschool starts in August. The clearance was 50% (although some things seemed to be marked down even more) and the deals were really good. I prefer them to be dressed in a preppier style, and most of the clothes I bought looked like Gap knock offs. Most of the brands were Target's Osh Kosh brand (Genuine Kids) & Cherokee brand. People were buying things up like crazy and I think it would be slim pickings if they actually went to 75% off. For $115 I got: 2 pairs of Spiderman light up velcro tennis shoes (clearanced to $7.48 each) 12 pairs of adjustable waist khaki type shorts (little bit longer shorts w/ pockets on the legs) 16 shirts (mostly Polo type and button down shirts and a few striped Tee's) Plus a clearanced baby girl dress to add to a friend's baby shower gift (clearanced to $1.74 )
  7. The Fisher & Paykel is awesome! My next house will definitely have one.
  8. I love my Sonicare. My teeth feel so clean after I brush them.
  9. I have an Ipod and I've never had any problems with it.
  10. DH & I are planning on looking for our new washer & dryer during Memorial Day weekend, there are usually lots of great sales during a holiday weekend.
  11. I saw that too, I may try that if I can't find the pan. Thanks! :)
  12. Anyone have a Buzz Lightyear cake pan they want to sell or know where I can buy one? I've checked ebay but no luck. Thanks!
  13. Thnanks for the info. DS has eaten there dozens of times without any reaction, thank God.
  14. Are you sure? My nephew is deathly allergic to peanuts and this was one place his DR recommended because they don't use peanut oil. My son also has a peanut allergy and he eats chicken nuggets from Chik Fil A with no problem.
  15. I totally agree. I refuse to pay for something that I can do for myself with a little common sense and a good memory.
  16. I made 2 orders, one was $22.xx for the OP's original deal of 1 doz roses, vase & free chocolates and the other order was $25.xx for 2 dozen roses plus a free vase. Awesome deals! If you are ordering today of course the price will be higher, it's 4 days before Mother's Day!
  17. My Mom received her 2 dozen roses today and they are gorgeous! Thanks again OP!
  18. You have to choose the option May 8th OR May 9th, it's a seperate option that includes both days. The flowers will be delivered either May 8th or 9th.
  19. Thanks OP! Mine was $25.81 but I got the dozen Mother's Day roses plus another dozen Mother's Day roses free and a free large vase. My Mom would rather have the flowers than the chocolates.
  20. Yes. They have been around for years and I have ordered as well as received flowers from them many, many times. The flowers are always beautiful and come direct from the grower. DH sent me beautiful tulips when we were dating and they lasted 3 weeks! They don't farm out the orders to a local florist like some of the other big name florists do. You get exactly what you order.
  21. No,she specifically said one coupon per order! I was shocked but a least she still let me split my stuff up into separate orders. I checked with the front lane manager before leaving and she said it's true and it's to cut down on the people who buy more than what a typical family can use. I have a family of 4 and was buying 7 tubes of toothpaste, I don't feel it was excessive:confused:
  22. I picked up 7 of the Rembrandt toothpaste tubes, there were a lot more but only 7 coupons. The cashier said they have a new policy of only 1 man. coupon per order so she let me have 7 different orders. I also picked up 2 Nascar collectible tins with 4 replica diecast race cars inside for $6.24, reg $24.99 each.
  23. Definitely check your local craigslist before ordering new. We have this one: http://www.step2.com/product.cfm?product_id=1126 I love how the lid just slides back into the toy box.
