  1. Most memorable deal was shopping with my mom and sister in law. We were at Toys R Us, and I got the last Little Tykes slide for my 2 year old. Forget the price, but it was a great deal. We then had to hide it in the car for our 5 hour trip back home. The kid loved the slide. Also a dashboard GPS, probably in 2011 or 2012, it was maybe $20, and we still use it on long trips!
  2. I dislike the early sales too because I don't have anyone's wish list so I feel like I am missing out on deals.
  3. Love hanging the ornaments from the window! I might have to do that. We have some inside up. Need to find time to put more up. WE are decorating earlier this year. Outside we out big bulb lights, a light up palm tree, one of those wooden signs, and of course our blow molds! I also have a neat light post I want to put out. As long as we can figure out how to get them all plugged in. This is our 2nd Christmas in out new house, and we were still packed last Christmas so we have to see what we have and can do!
  4. I bought a throw for my son, it's an oversize one so he will love it for his bed. None of the sweatpants he liked. I bought a throw rug too. I think I will love my kohls cash when I return his pants. Oh well. The blanket was worth it!
  5. Oh man I missed it all I started my list but work got crazy and I needed to train the new person. Ugh this sucks. Is it too late for even the card exchange?
  6. Ooops forgot to enter this one but want to say thanks for the recipes! They all look so good! This was a great idea for a contest.
  7. Yes to all of the above!! One sale, paper ads, no giveaways, don't bring little kids! And I'll add: people who smoke in line!
  8. Thanks for doing this again! Last year was my first year, and it was fun
  9. My husband used his on a set of those Disney 100 figures. I am hoping I can use it on a toy that my nephew wants, whenever I get his list.
  10. Depends on how tired I am and who is giving out stuff when lol Target and Kohl's for sure, Bath and Body Works, sometimes a few clothing stores. If I am up to it I go to the other end of town to JC Penney and Best Buy. Wal Mart depends on what they have - but my husband lieks to go out later so we always hit up Target and WM then.
  11. Will they have these books in store? We haven't received their sales books in the mail in sooo long. WE let our membership lapse and just renewed but haven't had a chance to go to the store to be sure we will get mailers.
  12. My son is 12 and same. He just glanced at them and threw them aside. He is also so picky in what he likes that it hard to surprise him and get a genuine reaction.
  13. We always let it lapse then renew. The $15 was nice this year. I used a different e-mail but it still said "You look familiar" when I signed up lol But I was still able to do it. If they would just offer some sort of discount for current members then it wouldn't be necessary to do this. We only shop there a few times a year.
  14. I miss BBB. Online isn't the same as wandering the aisles and finding cool and unique items for gifts.
  15. We are just all so anxious!
  16. lots of sale prices lots of people shopping too black friday is here
  17. He might like a drone. He has never been into cars!
  18. Well I replied to what I thought was this thread but wasn't. Sooo happy October! It's my favorite month!
  19. I made my 12 yo look through it. He circled a Disney TV thing that works with echo or alexa or something we don't have and also the mario Kart go cart which is for up to 8 years old. So sad. Hard to find stuff for his age.
  20. So does airports. Unless they are packaged somehow to not be so big and bulky?
