Congrats to all the graduates that have graduated and anyone else that has had special life events this month! Can't believe we're halfway to Black Friday already. This year seems to be flying by quickly.

This month has been crazy, especially the weather! One day is warm enough for shorts, the next I'm wearing jeans and a sweatshirt. I hope the weather evens out better in May.

I hope everyone has a Happy and safe St. Patrick's Day weekend!

So excited to try this again this year. I hope I can remember! I am using my storage pouches for my Christmas receipts. Nice to have a place to keep them this year. Thanks Brad for the hoodie. It is really comfortable and looks great!

I would also have to go with the DS Lite Super Mario for $136. My son broke his a few years back and we had a hard time finding another one. My second choice would be the Eureka stick vacuum for $9. We easily spent three times that amount for a stick vacuum for my other son's dorm room a few years ago. I do remember standing by the pallet with the Leapsters on it that year. One lady was standing about 8 feet away with a cart telling her teenage daughter to grab as many as she could. I warned the Walmart employee working her first Black Friday that she might want to move away quickly after cutting the plastic. Everyone that wanted one was able to get one thankfully. Thanks for bringing back the memories of Black Fridays past!

1. Which store do you think will have the best Black Friday sale(s) this year? Kohls. They seem to have things for a wide range of people on my list. 2. Do you anticipate shopping in stores on Black Friday this year? I hope so, but will do most of my shopping online this year. I do want to go in some stores this year for odds and ends, because I do miss the excitement of shopping on Black Friday. 3. What one aspect of past Black Fridays would you like to see brought back? I do miss going to Walmart between 2-3am on Black Friday to get my items to price match. I would put Post-it notes on the items so I knew what ad and page they were on. That way I was sure I got that item. I also miss the unexpected free giveaways like the Scooby-Doo Marshmallow pops and bottles of water at Toys R Us one year. It was such a nice gesture.

My son loaned "Frankenstein Makes a Sandwich" from the library years ago when he was in grade school and loved it. I bought it for my godson, who was slightly older, that Christmas. When he unwrapped it, his eyes lit up. I do believe his teacher had read it to him. He was so happy to have his own copy of it. This book would be good for anyone who likes classic monsters and loves to laugh! I can't believe September is almost over already. This year seems to be going by quickly. It is definitely autumn here. Over the weekend, it was warm one minute and chilly the next minute. Time to figure out my Christmas lists and write down what gifts I've already picked up for my family.
