My newspaper has the 10 of 25 coupon in for this weekend and good only until 1 pm. On another page was the coupon for the percentage off. Very rarely do I ever get a nice glossy Macys advertising section. I wish they would do a better job advertising there sales and what they are offering.

I wonder if we got the same jacket. I got a jacket this morning regularly $140 for $49 and anything similar I have seen has run from $80-$90 and up. I was going to get a robe on Black Friday but didn't take the time and today they were $8 cheaper.

I saw one in Borders where they sell the childrens books. Not quite like they were orginally but the same idea.

I just received one order I placed and it took 2 weeks to receive it and waiting on another and that one will be around the 2 week time also. I haven't ordered much from Amazon and was surprized that shipping is this slow. I quess they want us to sign up for the prime deal but so far I haven't shopped with them enough to make it worthwhile.

This just happened to me before Thanksgiving. I had purchased something and during my next visit it was marked down. I bought the marked down one and when I went to return the orginal purchase I asked if I had brought in the receipt if they would have adjusted the price. I was told I would have to buy the marked down one and return the orginal that they would not just refund the money because the item was now cheaper.

Mine didn't have the cashmere sweater until after Black Friday and they have tons sitting around at the higher price. They don't look like they are selling. The towels got moved to the towel department and got marked up.

I wonder if something like this isn't happening to the tracfone cards. Last time I was putting in more time it kept coming back that the pin had already been used but I knew I had just bought the card and the time wasn't added to my phone. After talking to several people and finally speaking with a supervisor I got the time added to my phone and she made some remark that this situation happens. If you were a crook I don't see why you couldn't keep trying by putting in random numbers until one is accepted and the crooks would have studied previously used cards to see a pattern.

I applied and was approved today but only got 10% off. I also got a coupon for 10% off on another shopping trip.

Thanks for the tips and information on Kohls. I used to be a big Filene's shopper but now that it is closed I have just started to go to Kohls. It is in a different direction then I usually go but so far I have been happy and today I signed up for the credit card. I think Kohls will be my number 1 store.

Giving samples with purchases is very smart of them. I have ordered many things because I tried and liked the sample. Wish I had a Sephora store locally but that could be very dangerous.

The free shippping offer I have seen is only good through the 29th so will be over before this offer is in effect. It would be worth checking to see which way is the best way to go. I was going to order something for just $50 which would be $10 off and I doubt the shipping is $10 but I will check.

I don't understand how closing layaway will make people more financially responsible. Not taking credit cards anymore would be the way to go if that is what there motive is. There was layaway long before there was credit cards. I do understand the expense of running a lawaway program but also understand there are many people who have no credit and only a few dollars every week to spend but want to provide a nice Christmas for there family. Maybe they should have changed layaway by charging a percentage on the items there were holding and even a weekly or monthly fee.

The leather and cashmere didnot come in to my store but they had them today at regular price. They aren't worth the regular price the cashmere was not a good quality and for a few dollars more you can get much better and there are many places with inexpensive leather jackets. Penneys had much nicer ones for $49. The towels and sheets didnot sell well and they are all marked up to what they are calling the everyday price but again the quality is not there for the price.

The line was long in my Kohls but my daughter was able to find a couple of toys she couldn't find elsewear and I found some good deals and probably would have found more if I hadn't run out of energy. While we were in line they announced they were extending the early bird hours but like I said just had no more energy and was ready for lunch.

My Boscov's has layaway for anyone who is unhappy with Walmarts discontinueing theres.

Got there by 8 and there wasn't a snow globe in sight. I don't know if they didn't have any or if they went through them all that fast. Usually they are still passing them out at 10 or 11 and it was not unusually crowded, in fact the cashiers were talking about it being slower than they had planned for. I got an outfil for each of my grandchildren and some nice cozy pj's for me. I didn't feel the prices were much better than there other sales but most everything was on sale and they were well stocked.

I was at Sears this evening and they had the Friends & Family flyers by the mall entrance for anyone to pick up. Looks to me like if you purchase during those hours you will automatically receive the discount, there was no special coupon.

I just learned this but it is something that needs to be considered for Christmas gifts. I was in the store on Saturday and bought some baby clothes for my new grandbaby. I was given both the regular receipt and the gift receipt. Printed on the gift receipt was "store credit issued for gift receipt returns". I had made my purchase with cash and expect to get cash back if returned even with a gift receipt. This can be a big issue with me in where I will buy gift items and something you need to think about especially in small shops. For me this policy is a big negative on Boscov's for gift purchases. On the plus side they do free gift wrapping on a purchase over $10.

Received an email from Filenes that there after Thanksgiving ad is online and you can print up the coupons. If I remember correctly though, there also was an ad printed within the newspaper with other deals last year.

A 1/2 carat tw pair of earrings means 1/4 carat for each ear, a very small stone. You would be better off with a good quality cz than a poor quality stone of that size. There will be no sparkle and that is what we want in our diamonds.

Last year at my local Bath & Body Works the register line was wrapped all around the store and it was impossible to walk through the store to pick up items. I skipped it because I was only get a couple of things and there were better deals to be had.
