They are having a 1 day sale on November 12th that has some good deals. Ex. 30% off gift cards.

My grandma does this too. She buys clearance items all year and then divides it all out. We use to joke about the bag but now Everyone always looks forward to seeing what's in our grab bag.

Definitely putting DG on my store list. X Box live 3 month card 1/2 off and toys, if there is anything decent for my granddaughter.

I don't see Wal Mart employees being able to pass out candy canes when their entire store is grid locked to check out. You can't even move let alone tell if you are even in a check out lane. It is horrible!!

I did the exact same thing last year with a video game. It's ridiculous that they won't price match their own online price.

We will celebrate TG on the weekend. Due to planning around so many schedules we have always done it on the weekend. Besides everyone in our family knows we plan/shop for all the presents on TG and BF so nobody really minds.

I am aiming for TG weekend, just hoping my 2 kittens don't knock it over and/or destroy it. They are wild, especially at night!

I forgot about PetSmart. Have to stock up on kitty litter! Lol

Wal mart, Target, Toys R Us, Kohl's and Best Buy are my go to stores for BF. This year we are heading to the outlet mall as well. Hoping to get some great deals at the Nike outlet and the Vera Bradley outlet. I am SO excited!!

Target just may be my go to store this year! They are offering some good deals.

That would be a better time financially for me to buy one. I want to get her one that she can use until she outgrows it.

We also do Jammie's on Christmas Eve. It's a tradition my mom started with us and my brother and I have continued with our kids. I have special paper the Jammie's get wrapped in and even though everyone knows what it is, they still are excited to unwrap them and put them on.

#1: PEOPLE the line starts over there...like on the other side of the store! #2: Go ahead, I double dog dare you to try and take my doorbuster. I have nerf guns and I am NOT afraid to use them. #3: I told you we shop all night and all day. I wasn't kidding, so let's go get those door busters.

Does anyone know if car seats will go on sale on BF? Looking to buy one that will go rear facing and then forward facing as my granddaughter grows.

We are waiting until BF to upgrade DH phone. He has been anxiously waiting to get the IPhone 7. Hoping to get a big gift card to spend on gifts.

Watch cyber Monday deals as well. Last year I got the 6 qt professional Kitchen Aide mixer from Target for $179 with free shipping. I felt like I stole that mixer because it is normally around $500.

I also forgot about KB toys. I loved going there when my girls were little. So many good deals!!

I have been 1st in line a few times at K Mart's TG sale. One year it was for gameboy's for my 3 dtr's. When I got to electronics to get them the employee said it was a limit of 1 per person because they didn't have many in stock. After much debate, because the limit was not printed in the ad, the manager who knew I had been waiting for hours finally gave me 3. The next year they started handing out tickets before they opened on the big items and enforced the 1 per person limit.

I was disappointed with Kohl's online shopping last year. Half of my order was canceled the day it was due to ship because they said it was out of stock. Called customer service and they were no help at all. Not even apologetic at all.

I really miss standing outside in the cold with my mom for hours just waiting for the hot item of the year. We always met a lot of people and had great conversation. Now with all the early openings it brings everyone out. Sometimes people are not friendly like they used to be. It's sad to think that the Black Friday traditions are changing.

I try to buy small items throughout the year for stocking stuffers. Just some ideas: favorite candy/snack, gift card(s), nail polish, make up, socks, gloves, nail clippers/tweezers, charging cords, ear buds, perfume/body spray, phone case. Hope this helps!

This is on my 17 y/o dtr's list this year...maybe an option if the prices are good.
