I ended up getting the SP at Brandsmart for $49, had a question though, TRU had these huge accessory packs on clearance for $5, included carrying case, hard case, game cases, AC adaptor, Car Adaptor, Light, Link System and more. Only problem was they were for regular Gameboy Advance not SP. Does anyone know if these accessories will work with the SP (other than the fit to size hard case of course)??

I got there at 5am and was 5th in line, they had plenty of stuff and only about 100 people in line when it opened

We got tons of stuff but probably did the best at Brandsmart with 2 Gameboy Advance SP's for 49.99 and a 12.00 DVD player

I price matched a number of things today at Walmart with no problem

Same here, for the GBA games, we were about 8th in line outside, but everyone else went for shopping carts so we were first in line in the electronic department. We got the Game Boy (originally were going for 3 but Brandsmart has them for 49.99 limit one per person so we're going there tomorrow to get 2) and the Games, they only had a small box full of games so they were gone pretty quick. I hope they work their kinks out by tomorrow though 'cause none of the stuff on sale rang up right, the person in electronics wasn't at her register when we got there, and she was giving out the wrong Beyblade game so when you got to the register it rang up at 29.99. Overall we got what we wanted though.

Anyone have a Brandsmart in their area? In our paper this morning they had tons of items (hate to wait in line there though) Looked like some good deals, 5inch portable DVDS for 78.00, Game Boy Advance SP for 49.99, DVD Players for 12.99AR etc.

Haven't seen an ad for what's on sale but my paper had a coupon for 25% off any item tomorrow for the Sports Authority

I love the post from alimfp about which store you are going to first, I figure this group is a good sample of the population so if alot of people put Office Max (which is where I want to go) I know I should go out even earlier than usual. Thanks, I hate rebates and don't really want a gift card, rather pay less cash up front. Sounds like 30gb is more than enough and any more would just be to say I have 40gb, just went on line and bought the other.

The Walmart one is 54.77 but comes with 3 discs

I heard the same thing about the earphones, but I hear that about most factory included earphones. They also said that this and the IPOD use the exact same hard drive. So it seems like a good deal, what do you think of the price, seen them anylower?

Don't know if anyone was going for the FUJI at Office Max or the Kodak at Walmart on BF but Walmart has an online sale right now for those same prices with the docking cradles. (Office Max had a free printer though)

I've read some pretty good reviews on the Creative Nomad MP3's, saying the sound is just as good as IPOD, the battery life is longer and the batterys are easily replaceable (the only knock was they said they felt the case was better on the IPOD. Haven't used one myself but going to give it a try....Walmart has one online sale now for a 30GB for 179.99

I don't have a Costco membership since we have a BJ's nearby, I got mine at Brandsmart a year ago (for a heck of alot more I must say!!) Can anyone else answer slouie's question?

For those of us PDA novices who don't really need all the bells and whistles on a first time PDA, is the Palm Zire 31 at Office Max OK? The price with the bundle looked like a good deal and it seemed to get pretty good reviews as a starter PDA to see if you like them
