  1. I went to CC last year to get one of their big screen LCD tv's. Stood in line (with a cold) in the really cold weather for about 2 hours, and they were all gone by the time I entered the store. Left there (buying nothing), and went to Sears and got a great deal. Should've started at Sears for that. CC was a waste. I did buy a laptop from them ~2 months ago, so no real hard feelings, but I'll probably start somewhere else unless they have exactly what I need/want.
  2. If you do the BF at BB online, is that for 'in-store' pickup only? I'd be worried that they'd 'accidentally' sell the items I ordered, and that would be a pain. No mix-ups for you so far?
  3. That looks fake to me. I'm pretty sure that WalMart is represented by Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe.
  4. This is the latest Slingbox version (SB300-100) that I'm looking for this year. It streams in HD, and they usually cost $300 new. So - has anyone heard of any store that's going to be selling these at a discount? I might be able to get 1 on Ebay at a lower price, but I'd rather buy one on BF if I can.
  5. Per the Walmart ad at : http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?dest=9999999997&product_id=7081021&sourceid=1500000000000001827170 Detachable stand Mounts on a wall with an optional 200 x 400 mm VESA-compatible kit (sold separately) Doesn't this sound like I'll need to plan to also purchase the stand? That sounds like a mixup to me.
  6. Wow - I start planning for BF months ahead. I pretty much know most of the items I'm going to attempt to find. Walmart has been my primary source for the past 2 years. That can change though. There's a lot of stores doing BF. To be honest, I thought Walmart got on board late in the game. Now that they've become a player, they want to quit??? Odd.
  7. Okay - I had the same question, but now I have another question. BB has a LCD TV that I want, and it has the 'Early Bird' indicator on that item. How do I find out what time the store actually offers this item? Also, for BB, isn't it necessary to get in line several hours earlier than the store actually opens in order to get the item? If so, what are recommendations for that? In my limited experience, BB always had the longest lines of anyone. ===Edit: I just read the store hours thread. Best Buy's hours are 5:00 AM till 11:00 PM on BF. This is confirmed in Miami, FL. So I guess I probably need to be in line about 3:00a????
