  1. Thursday, December 1: 8:00pm - The Year Without a Santa Claus (ABC Family) YAY!!!!! Thank you so much!!! He's Mister Heat Miser, he's Mister Sun... hee hee... I can't wait!! :) -gina-
  2. I would have everything up now if it wasn't 87 degrees and not feeling anything like fall. LOL But I'm itching to put up all the Christmas stuff! Why wait, when putting it up early means you can simply enjoy it that much longer? -gina-
  3. Snakeswiff, what a wonderful Christmas present that was for you!! :) Like the rest of you have already so eloquently said, Christmas is all about family to me. Just being together, smiling and laughing together, and making more memories. And for me, it's also about the smile on my little boy's face that Christmas brings. That's the best Christmas gift I could get. -gina-
  4. Mine are all the Ray Conniff albums. I grew up hearing them, and love them even more as an adult. It just isn't Christmas without Conniff. :) -gina-
  5. I want to thank all of you for being such generous souls who look for ways to help others. I have always tried to model that for my little boy, such as sterilizing and taking his outgrown books and toys to churches and daycares, in the hopes that he grows up knowing the feeling you get from doing nice things. I'm kinda ashamed to even write this, but just today I had to write to a local organization to ask for Christmas present help for my son. I have never, ever had to do such a thing -- but after losing my job of 8 years in September, and my ex flaking on child support again, I had to do it. I love how my little guy still believes in Santa, and I don't want to ruin that for him. I'm rambling... but I just really wanted to say thanks to you guys for being out there and helping others. It feels pretty rotten to possibly be on the receiving end of help at all, but I can tell you with all certainty that the people you help really do appreciate it. Your good deeds will come back to you. :) -gina-
  6. How much more awesome can you guys get??? Thank you for all the hard work you do for us penny-pinchers!! -gina-
  7. I just put a small tv on layaway for my son this week at Walmart, and asked about price reductions. She said that when an item goes on sale, the price is automatically adjusted for layaway items also. She said that if you take the item out of layaway when it is on sale, you will get that price -- but once the sale is over, the price automatically reverts to what it was. Now I would take that to mean BF pricing as well... she didn't say there were any exclusions, but I didn't think to ask about BF. -gina-
  8. My son is 9, and he loves anything that has to do with Bionicles and Transformers. I'm so tired of stepping on sharp little Bionicle pieces. LOL -gina-
  9. My dvd player (doesn't record) is a Cyberhome, and it has served me well for a few years now. No problems at all. -gina-
  10. I hope to get one! I adore CP dolls... still have mine from the 80's, and still cherish them. -gina-
