Recommendations for a good wireless router
Mike replied to m61376's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
If you use the 10% off Bestbuy coupon found here. Starting tomorrow, Bestbuy has a 802.11 G D-Link Router for $60 with $40 of mail in rebates. Using the coupon brings it down to $14. Also, bestbuy has the Linksys 802.11G for $70 with $30 of mail in rebates. After the coupon, the total would be $33. I personally don't think the Linksys is worth double the price of the D-Link. -
Recommendations for a good wireless router
Mike replied to m61376's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I have a netgear 802.11 G router and had a netgear 802.11b wireless router before that. No problems at all with netgear routers, tech support was good. I think the most popular are the Linksys. Speed wise though, your internet is capped from your ISP...so they all should be around the same. The only variation should be in the signal strength. -
Nice, you think bestbuy will pricematch compusa and let me use the coupon? I got pick up GTA: SA this weekend.
-
Even if they put out a new coupon, they'd have to put the camera back on their site. If that is the case, I will update the OP and remove the "DEAD"
-
Appears they have taken it down.

Thanks :)

Dell Home has the ALL NEW Canon S2 IS with $75 off instantly, then use the $70 off $450 coupon code to bring it down to $355. I doubt it will be this low again for quite a while. http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A0479486 Coupon code: 1VWL8GL8PSGGVK

Pretty sure the 10% DPA is dead and the current 2% dpa requires a $999 minimum purchase.

I think I might place this order tomorrow...assuming the coupons stack and depending on how they're applied. Dell 1905 (Dell Part #320-4113) Kingston 256mb CF card (Dell Part #650-0017) Total for everything would be $503 -$167(35% coupon) -$60 ($60 off $500) -$8 (MIR on CF) $272 total. I dunno, considering they were just $280...not that hot. I might also get a canon digi cam, something else, and a 1gb Ultra II CF. I can use the $60 off $500, sell the other 2 items @ cost or just above and get the CF card for $20 or less. Decisions decisions...

Nice, should be able to put together some deals.
-
You could probably find one in the FS/FT AT forum...I got a cheap dvi agp for $20 shipped almost a year ago.
-
There were over 20 in my local area (5 different staples) but I don't think these are too shippable...they're pretty big.
-
you're correct, 12" x 350'
-
Yea, this is B&M only unfortunetly. Its a clearance item, originally these were $39.99 each.

Please help me spec out a desktop for my sis
Mike replied to cthulhu's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I would wait like Ross said...you can get a P4 system and LCD for $500. -
lol, that is awsome.
-
Staples has the 12" x 350' rolls of bubble wrap on clearance for $6.50. My local store had 6 of them and I picked up 4. Total with tax was $28.02...not bad for at least a years worth of packing material. The sku # is: 396926

Anyway to fix this? When I use the "new posts" feature and go to a thread and read the replies...if I return to that part of the forums, the thread will still be bolded to tell me a new post is there...but Ive seen all the new posts already.

any Dell Dimension coupons coming out?
Mike replied to m61376's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
FYI, dell has free RAM & harddrive upgrades right now and starting on 5/2 you can use coupon code GL$8KB13$WB?04 to take $300 off a $999 system @ dell home. It appears they have taken away the Klipsch 5.1 pro medias for the system configuration add on page... -
any Dell Dimension coupons coming out?
Mike replied to m61376's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Im waiting...scratch that...wishing & waiting for another $400 off $999 dimension coupon. My next dream deal would be a 4700, Klipsch 5.1, 19" for ~$600 or so after coupon. -
Digital SLR cameras.. any deals??
Mike replied to rainregen's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
The XT has already been below $850 @ dell -
My Rebel XT is on back order from Dell, ships may 2nd With the recent deal on the d70 from buydig.com($900 AR w/no tax)...I think you'd be hard pressed to make a profit that would be enough to counter all the work involved. Though, if you found other outlets to sell it at... During the dell outlet deals, ebay was flooded with them...luckily for me...craigslist was not. Made a nice profit on each one, and you could do the same thing perhaps with the D70 if you have craigslist available in your area. Though, a quick check of ebay I can see some with a smidge of time left over $1k...would be a nice ~$200 profit or so. EDIT: A little bit more for you b/c you don't have to pay tax...

This is has a little bit more work invovled and not so hot for the XT or 20D. The Nikon D70 Ok, CirucitCity.com has the D70 for $1139.99. They have the Epson R200 photo printer for $100. There are $260 in mail in rebates available. There is also a rebate for 10% of your purcase back on a giftcard. My math $1139 D70 $100 R200 $1239 -$100 Nikon MIR -$100 Printer MIR -$60 CC MIR -$124 10% GC -$70? Ebay the printer... $785 is your final cost.. There are also a few circuit city coupon codes floating around if you can find them. There are either $10, $15, or $30 off which could potentially bring the D70 kit down to $755. If you have a credit card with BVG...it could get even lower. Links: D70 10% off GC Now for luke warmness... You can use the same deal for the XT or 20D...but looking at dell prices...not that great. 20D = $1183 XT = $845(Silver Only) 300D = $639 All 4 of these are the kits, the 300D, 350d and 20d have the 18-55...the D70 has the 18-70 lens.
