IIRC, dell took away their system coupons. $500 will get you a bare Celeron system with a CRT. I would wait for the next Dell small business deals. MSN.com is displaying an ad for dell that lists a free 17" LCD upgrade and a pentium 4 with a $499 price, but I cannot duplicate that deal or find it on dell's website.

That users visited block is going to get insane around BF

Nice, I like the over all look of the forums now. Im excited about the new "skins" and point system. edit: I also like the "Weekly Ad" section at the top, but alot of the links won't load for me.

Mike replied to Metallica_Band's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I would get a dell, but if you have to get one at a B&M, id go with the V2312US from circuit city. Turion 64 512mb DVD +/- RW 14" brightview screen 1.5" thin 6-in-1 card reader 60gb hd $760 after rebates plus free cheapy printer & wireless G router -
1) How excited are you about this years Black Friday? Ill probably have to work, but excited none the less 2) What's on your shopping list? What items? Xbox 360, anything else to make a little bit of $$ on. Not looking for anything to keep. 3) Parents, do you dread shopping for the hottest toys and/or video games? 4) Do you bring anything to sit on while camping out at 2AM waiting for a store to open? I'm thinking about getting a collapseable lawn chair. Ill be working most likely, so I can't camp out. 5) What stores ads are you anxious to see? BestBuy 6) We're currently at 5,898 members ... do you think we'll break 10,000 members by Christmas? Yep 7) I can't wait until we upgrade to vBulletin forum software v3.5 with new features and goodies. Plus we're going to have several giveaways and prizes this holiday season. Givaways are always fun :)

My goal is to get 10 xbox 360s so that will take a huge chunk of my budget. Maybe a few hundred on BF itself. Anything left will go towards more 360s.
-
Yep, the only really good deals are the half a dozen "loss leaders" at each store and usually there will be a decent deal on DVDs or CDs @ BB/CC.

People want something, and they have the money to get it.
-
Im saving up for 360 launch. I hoping to make more there than the last couple BFs combined.
-
They're all pretty much the same. Especially for something that is brand new...no one is going to have it for cheaper on launch day.
-
I dunno, I would check out that MS one in person before you buy it. IMO its a tad on the small side. Though I guess its not one of those really tiny ones either. Meh

I would get this logitech mouse. Its not a full size mouse, but its not one of those really tiny ones. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16826104142&ATT=Mouse&CMP=OTC-pr1c3grabb3r http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?sku=A0204624&cs=19&c=us&l=en http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10358077&SearchEngine=PriceGrabber&SearchTerm=10358077&Type=PE&Category=Comp&Gad=0&dcaid=15890

I only hope so. People want the latest and greatest and they don't care how much it costs. Your a bad parent if you don't get your kid an Xbox 360 for xmas. LOL Fine by me...I just want to get paid!
-
Mara, Im going to do the same thing. Get my hands on as many Xbox 360s as I can.

From 9/15 to 9/30 Circuit City has a $15 off $100 purchase coupon. Each store should have got a few hundred of these and if you went in and asked for one they would give you one. Circuit City also runs B1G1 free deals on all paper everyother week. The plus runs $24.99 for 120 sheets. When you do B1G1 free, it really rings up as $.01. Thus your total for 2 packs would be $25 even. Buy 8 packs for $100 even, no need for a filler b/c of the B1G1 free $.01 packs. Then use the coupon and you get 960 sheets for $85 + tax.

That would look all sexy in one unit, but couldn't you do the same with just a computer case and a PCI raid card?

Oh my, I stand corrected. My apologies, $60 is not so farfetched. -

The cheapest they have every been with a filler, coupon and rebate has been about $50. Cheapest with just a rebate hassle has been about $75. Cheapest with no hassle has been about $80. If you find one for $60, you let me know. -
Is the Pro that much better than the Plus? Depending on when you need it, you could get 960 sheets of 4" x 6" of the Canon Plus for ~$85. Cheapest im finding the Pro for is about $9/20 sheets which isn't very good.

I love his paintings, just beautiful. -
I would get this: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=F8T006 Good deal, especially since you're going to use it on a notebook. It would be more discrete than a usb adapter.
