  1. Target has a 5 piece for $69.99 in their BF ad.
  2. I went this past Saturday night to Walmart to grab some stuff. They still had the Black Friday displays in middle of the floor for most items that was on sale for the first event. Barely anything from the 2nd event was touched. I did grab my son one of the Baby Yoda Bop It's that was with the $10 games. It rung up full price but they adjusted it to the $10.
  3. My daughter is wanting some bbw for Christmas. Might have to get this for my mom. Anyone know where to look for coupons to use?

    Apple Pencil

I want to say I seen it on Best Buy for $99 but that was a week or so ago.
  5. If they aren't needing to use it with a phone I would go with Fitbit. I have had a couple Fitbit watches and a Fossil smartwatch. I prefer the Fitbit one since it was easier to use. The Fossil one had sync issues with my phone and I was always having to fix the programming in it through the app. It was a headache.
  6. I know in previous years you would just add to cart and it asks if you want to upgrade or add a line of service. Go to upgrade then select what phone on your plan you are upgrading. They send out the gift card within 24 hours. This is not my personal experience but this is what I was told last year when I had asked someone who done it.
  7. I'm thinking the same thing about Best Buy. With their sale starting Friday I don't see one coming out which sucks. I like having all my options laid out in front of me before buying but this year that just isn't happening.
  8. Very good ad. Holiday beauty sets, Xbox game pass, and basketball goal is what I am getting from here.
  9. Going through the same thing for the tv problem. My son is wanting a Xbox and tv for Christmas now. The tv he has is a 32 inch and just a little too small for him to play on. We wanted to get him a 50-55 inch but so far no luck on good prices for Black Friday. Hopefully Target or Best Buy pulls through. I think Macy's might have a luggage set. I was needing one since I am taking a trip in March but ended up winning a Samsonite Volante luggage set a couple weeks ago.
  10. I think Black Friday as we knew it is gone as well. It seems like most retailers were transitioning for most items being online before covid happened. Having four kids under 12 it was easier for me to go shopping on Thanksgiving night since my mom was off and could watch the kids. With most places being closed on Thanksgiving I would have to shop online even if it was for one big day versus how they are doing it now. I think the biggest hurtle we are going to overcome is being able to figure out what is the real Black Friday deals and whether or not we can get it cheaper later on. One thing I loved about years prior to covid is having all the ads within a week of Black Friday so I can figure out a game plan. This year I don't know whether to jump ship on sales now because we don't have all the ads but yet there are already Black Friday sales happening.
  11. I wanted to take advantage of the gift card deal when adding a line or upgrading. I was upgrading my daughter from the iPhone SE 2020 and adding a line for my son on Verizon. I was going to use the gift cards towards my youngest son and daughter a new swing set. Due to inventory issues with Apple products I decided to go ahead and go through Verizon for my daughter's phone. I upgraded her line but since I didn't trade in her current phone I can wait to activate the new one on Christmas. I ended up doing the Walmart deal last night for the Samsung A42 with Verizon for my son. He will be 9 next month so that one will be fine for him. With the plan, phone payment, and insurance it's $55 a month for his line. Not too bad. I am interested to see what Walmart has planned for the 3rd event when it comes to cell phones but I don't think it will be as good as what we previously have seen.
  12. Walmart's site is always iffy for me. Some years I can have it in my cart and when the sale goes live my cart clears while other times it would change to the sale price. I normally have the ad open to the item I want. Right before the sale goes live I click the item on the sales ad, click shop now, then let it load the page in a new tab. Walmart is known to let sales go live before the time stated (also for some items not to show up for hours later) so I also keep a separate tab open and click through the items I want to see if they pop up beforehand. Last year I snagged the Apple watch around 6:45 even though it wasn't suppose to go live until 7. Also keep an mind that if an item shows out of stock they normally do a restock every 30 minutes/1 hour so don't lose hope if you don't get the item on the first try.
  13. I always used self checkout during the Black Friday sales. Our stores are mainly self checkout now anyways. They normally had a couple more employees overseeing the checkout during it.
  14. I got my daughter an iPhone 13 at the end of October through Verizon's website. It shipped within hours of purchasing it. I done the buy an iPhone and get $250 off an iPad deal. Got my youngest daughter an iPad Air for $209 ($5 a month for the iPad, $10 a month for the unlimited plan for $15 total monthly). It just shipped yesterday being as it was on backorder but wasn't suppose to ship until Nov. 12th. My daughter's iPhone 13 is only $15 a month plus her plan so not too bad. I was wanting to get the gift card deal through Walmart this year but oh well.
  15. C but it's the free trial since I wanted to try it out before subscribing for the holiday season. I know the free trial doesn't let you do the early access for Black Friday. As of now there isn't really anything in the first ad that I need that would make me upgrade to the paid version. Right now it hasn't been worth me to pay for it overall.
  16. Kohl's Big Ones. My 4 year old is Autistic and he loves those blankets. It's the only ones he will use. Phone accessories, winter clothing for kids, and Straight Talk phone for my oldest son is an every year purchase. I used to do wax warmer set from Walmart but they haven't had them in the ad the last couple years.
  17. I miss Toys R Us. We always got the free Mickey and Minnie plush they had for when you spent a certain amount. My 4 year old is obsessed with Mickey and would love those plushes.
  18. My mom would always watch my kids while my husband and I went Black Friday shopping. Our tradition would be to go to Starbucks and get a frappe from them. We don't do Starbucks unless its on Black Friday (Thanksgiving at that time). The kids was so little at that point that we were mainly shopping for toys. Our first stop was Toys R Us because they done their BF an hour or so before Walmart. After that we would go to the Walmart near Toys R Us and get what was needed from there. After Walmart we would make a quick stop in Target for things that I might have wanted from there. Our last shopping stop was the Walmart way across town to pick through items that had been left over. They would always put the major items in the back towards electronics and let people know that they had things left over that was big ticket items. After Walmart we went and ate at Waffle House for a late night pick me up before heading home and dropping everything off. It was like a date night for my husband and me lol.
  19. They normally don't have the newest phones for the upgrade. It's usually the year old model so an iPhone 12 would be what is on sale this year. That's what is in the ad if I am not mistaken. Be my luck they have the gift card deal on the 3rd even lol
