  1. I own my own company so I make my own hours. I take time off and make my appointments light this time a year to help Brad on here.

If you do half as good of a job at your place as you do here.......... then you have a darn good business!!!

Keep up the good work BJ.

  2. The reveiws I've read are bad. Last about a year and then lines in the picture. I'm scare of buying but the price is good. What to do, what to do!!!!!!:smart::gdparanoid::eyepoppin
  3. when you heat your oven up to such a high temp, it takes a long time for it to cool off. if you dont open the oven door. by the time the temp in the oven drops to even say around 300 the bird will have been in the oven for atleast 3 or 4 hours. But then again this all varies by oven.

If you dont open the oven it holds the heat in. I have been doing this since 1982 and no one has gotten sick.

Have passed this recipe on to co workers through the years and they use it also. Its kinda like slow cooking something.

Gives me the use of my oven for other things.

  4. Easy baked turkey

    turkey any size

    3 celery stalks

    1 lg. onion

    1 whole apple

    1 qt. of hot water

    salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 475 degree the night before, around 9 or 10 pm.

place turkey in roaster. Stick apple, celery and onion up his tail...... salt and pepper the boy. Pour the hot water in pan. Put lid on and bake for 1 hour. DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN!!!!!! After cooking for an hour turn stove off and go to bed. Do not open stove!!!!!! Leave Tom in there to slowly cook all night. The heat in the stove will continue to cook him while you sleep. In the morning turkey is done and very moist. You will have plenty of broth for dressing and gravy. I reheat for about 30 mins. b4 lunch.

Remember..... do not open the stove!!!!!!!!

    I use a 16 lb. turkey

  5. Our store is open 24 hrs. and has been doing the line up for 3 years now and no one has ever gotten hurt. You just have to bring shopping buddies. Sometimes it means not getting a few items you want. Sit and figure out what are the items you must get verses the ones you would like to have. I like this so much better than standing in the cold and getting run over trying to get in the door.
  6. keep in mind that the one at target probably isn't a very high-quality model either at that price.

couldn't find any reviews on the 7" model target has, but amazon has a couple reviews of the 8" model:

    http://www.amazon.com/RCA-Moible-Players-screens-DRC6282/dp/B001NRM7UA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1258340003&sr=1-1

so again, with all of these cheaper models, you'll get what you pay for.

I have the RCA single player and it has lasted 3 or 4 years now. Got it on bfriday at wally world. It still works.

  7. I found a ring I liked at walmart and it was in a ring box with a price sticker of 89.00. When the girl rang it up, it was 499.00 and she told me someone had put the wrong ring in the box. She said I couldnt get it for 89.00!!! Went through 3 managers and they tried the mistakes happen junk. I told them if it was an item on the shelf where people could change prices or move it to the wrong spot then I would understand. This was locked in the case and only employees had the key and their mistake was not my problem. I informed the manager that they couldnt put a sign on an item and then not sell it for that. I got the ring for 86.00 because I reminded them of the 3.00 off.

I had a friend with me and she showed it to my husband (like it was hers) and ask him if he could get it for 86.00 would he buy me one and he said yes. I then told him he had. :eyepoppin:cheesy:
