I bought a car adapter for my Sony discman a year ago at Target and when I went to use it, it didn't work. It turned out my cd player was broken so I no longer needed the adapter. It only costs $14.99 and they still charged me a restocking fee even though it was under $100! It wasn't even "electronics". Just an accessory. I fought with them for a few minutes but since it was only a couple bucks, it wasn't worth my time. Next time I need to return anything there like that I think I should say it's broken, that way, they can't charge you a fee. -Eric

When I ordered stuff last week, a couple items said they would ship in 3 weeks instead of 1 like I hoped but then it said I 'qualified' for a free Amazon Prime 2 month trial so I get 2-day free shipping and $3.99 overnight shipping until February. It even told me how I would get a reminder notice to either continue and pay the $79.99 or cancel right away. I figured I would try that to get my stuff quicker. I got most of my stuff in 2 days and they just emailed me that the stuff that would take longer has just be shipped about 2 weeks earlier than they said. -Eric :)

I just ordered this using a 15% off code: 15FF2005 to bring it to $25.49 (still should be free shipping). It didn't give me free shipping and then after I submited the order, it said the total was $34.17 (should have been $29.xx with tax and $1.98 shipping they weren't supposed to charge me). I'm waiting for my confirmation email be I call/email them to fix at least the free shipping. I always hated this store. Always over prices or putting rebates on everything to bring them down to regular price that everyone is is selling it for! -Eric

Will & Grace season 4: $34.99 Walmart, PM's 14.99 from CC ad Dora's Pirate Adventure: 12.99 Walmart. PM'd $7.99 from ToysRus CC had a sign on the front door saying "Absolutely no Price Matching on Black Friday" and another sign that said "no returns until 12pm" Walmart is attached to their store on the right so I just went there for the stuff anyway. -Eric

Last year they did. We had a whole stack of rainchecks we were redeeming for weeks. If it doesn't say 'no rainchecks' or 'limited quantities' they have to give you a raincheck or an equal percentage off something similar.

I always go to Ebay first for everything but then if I can't find it there with decent shipping, I'll wind up looking at amazon, etc. Ebay has some cool stuff you can't get anywhere else.

I used to go out every BF (when I wasn't working). These days, it's just way too busy and I usually can't get anyone to watch my daughter anyway. I just try to get what I can online from the ads or maybe go to a couple of the less popular stores that still have decent ads.
