I absolutely LOVE Gottadeal.com!!!! I haven't known about the site the whole 10 years, but since I discovered it I look forward to it this time of year and this year I jumped on here earlier than usual and I'm actually posting...lol...Being able to see the ads to my fave stores is such a huge help when planning...I make a list for any and everything (and check it more than twice) way in advance...before I found this site I would have to wait until the big ad on Thanksgiving after dinner and hope I looked @ everything...of course you always miss something the first time around, but don't usually have time to go over the ads several times before the fun begins...all thay changed once I discovered Gottadeal.com...I am an ad stalker and I love it!!!! Every year I tell @ least one person about this site so they can take advantage of the savings, get in on the convos and view the ads early!!!!

I'm in the middle on this one...while I really enjoy family, food and fun, I love BF (Thursday) shopping as well!!!! I admit I have to give up some family time, but we get together a lot throughout the whole year...also I don't always get the opportunity to take BF off so getting good deals on Thanksgiving helps me out...

I'm going to say around the 11th...

My #1 tip for newbies (and veterans as well) make a list...check it twice (or more) before you venture out!!!! 2) The leaked ads are your friend...use them!!!! I have my top 3-4 stores I normally shop on BF, but i look in almost each ad because they might have something i need/want!!!! 3) If you can, take someone with you!!!! At least until you get use to it because it can be overwhelming your first time out!!!! 4) Bring snacks!!!! The lines are long, use the time to get energized before heading to the next store... 5) Have fun!!!! BF is not for the faint of heart, but it can be fun if you don't get stressed...remember, you may not get all of the items you want and some people can be rude...don't let it ruin your shopping experience!!!!

I used to go with family...the past few years I've gone out alone and end up meeting a few friends from church...this year my 14 yr old 6' tall son wants to go...hmmmm height, strength, speed, agility,protection walking through dark parking lots ...absolutely!!!!

I bought my son a 360 last Christmas from QVC...i have been holiday shopping with them for years!!!! Great deals and being able to spread the payments out over 5-6 monts is a plus!!!! I decided if we can't get a 32' tv on BF this year then i would purchase one from QVC or ShopHQ... Also been eyeing ipods from QVC...but think I'll wait until Nov or Dec to order that...

I've been BF shopping for @ least 16 years...wow it doesn't seem that long, but I really had to think about it!!!! My oldest 2 were still able to ride in shopping carts & sleep while I shopped, they're 20 & 21 now & my 14 yr old wasn't thought of...When I first started going out I only shopped @ Walmart...

I use a pen & notepad & organize my shopping by sales times, using the ads from this site of course...i go over my list & revise until thanksgiving day...I love the rush i get from being in the thick of it, but this year I may try ordering some things online too...

I started a layaway @ walmarr in september...i probably won't do anymore until BF & finish in the weeks leading up to Christmas...

Always!!!! The tradition in my house is that on Christmas eve everyone gets to open 1 gift...pajamas...lol...i also get household items & every year i get new rubbermaid containers...mainly little things...
