  1. If I still messed with strands of lights I would so do the same thing.
  2. Definitely Kohl’s for online shopping. I had a blast at Home Depot last year so that gets my store vote.
  3. Kohl's throws for sure.....for me and for my Senior Tree gifts as an extra beyond what their card has requested. Who doesn't love a good soft and oversized throw? *I do not need another throw, I do not need another throw* I always load up on bras from Kohl's as well. They always have them for under $20 each. I usually end up buying new house slippers too as something to throw in to get the free shipping. I'm hard on mine so I always have a backup pair in the closet. McAfee for the new year and for the last several years I've bought the most recent Big Bang Theory DVD which is usually around $10. I also get the cheap washcloths if Walmart has any left since I use those to wash my makeup off every night rather than my good washcloths. I doubt I get those this year since I have an abundance of them that are still in good condition.
  4. I can't wait for my current pre-lit tree from Home Depot to play out so I can get one of the multi-colored/white ones. My mom has one and we love it. We're 50/50 on the white and the colored so we are constantly changing them.
  5. I just loaded my Christmas playlist back to my phone. Any day now I will start that sucker up while in the car.
  6. I made a HUGE mistake and looked at them on Kohl's.com today. SMH *I do not need another throw*
  7. For the last several years I've been putting mine up the weekend before Thanksgiving. I love coming home from that weekend with a decorated house. I go overboard with the decorations so it's a waste of time and energy in my mind to wait until December because I like the take them down right after New Year's, if not before. We've never been one to leave the tree up until after New Year's. I will however, wait until after Thanksgiving to do my outdoor lights.
  8. I really love that ornament bird feeder too but I don't think there is a True Value where I will be for BF shopping.
  9. Answer: How The Grinch Stole Christmas Quote: I look like a Mafia Lieutenant
  10. Immediate family is parents first, then my sister and I take turns opening one at a time. If we have matching or similar items the packages are numbered the same for each of us and we open at the same time. Extended family when we did it at either set of grandparents’ house: grandkids first, then grandparents followed by a free for all with the aunts/uncles.
  11. Now see, if that had been me Walmart would have had another vomit mess to clean up because I would have gotten sick from the smell and the splatter alone. Lol.
  12. I buy for 8-12 people and that includes Senior Tree/Angel Tree and Secret Santa. I typically only budget for the big 3 that I have to buy for, and that’s $50-$60. I don’t budget for the Senior Tree/Angel Tree and Secret Santa because I would never stick to it. Lol
  13. My usual Big Bang Theory season for just $10. Also hope to find a decent wireless charger for iPhone for $10-15? I can probably find that now but I’m kind of a brand snob with my electronics. Wireless doorbell or camera for under $200. $150 would be great but doubtful.
  14. Happy Fall Y’all! Ads are getting closer. Football has returned although I’ve not watched one game of college (my team stinks to high heaven this season) or NFL. The cool weather has flown the coop for this week too. Ugh. Anyone here have a wireless charger or stand for their capable iPhones or Androids? If so what do you have and do they work well?
  15. OMG! Yogi Bear and Smurfs Christmas! I haven't thought about those in years!!!! Love those old cartoons.
  16. Yay! I actually ordered a possible gift today so I'm proud of myself for finally coming up with at least one idea for someone. I'm afraid it will be smaller than what I'm wanting so keeping fingers crossed. I love ThinkGeek stuff. My favorite thing I've gotten from them is a Chemistry glassware shot glass set. I'm such a nerd. LOL
  17. Yes! I do believe it's always free shipping when you order from the kiosk, at least I've always gotten free shipping. You can use coupon codes, etc. Not sure what the payment options are because I always use my Kohl's card. My store has two.....one near the customer service area and one in the shoe department and near the housewares. I use it mostly for things they don't have in stock in the store such as a color of something or a size of shoe or PJ's or the like. You can take an item with you and scan the barcode and the kiosk will pull it up and allow you to order a different size, color, etc. It's great. I've also made special trips to order certain things I know I want when I don't have a free shipping code.
  18. Sweet! That one is adorable. And I love the cuddle up with a book bundle idea! Free shipping from the Kohl's kiosk is the bomb! I do it all the time.
  19. QVC and their easy pays get me in so much trouble! LOL I also love VB cosmetic travel bags. They are expensive to me but well worth the money. Mine have been put through the ringer and have help up quite well. That would be a nice little compliment to the weekender bag for your daughter if you decide to get the bag for her. VB site usually has fairly good sales and some even with free shipping with no minimum purchase throughout the year but especially during the holiday season.
  20. Oh wow! The Lock & Lock sets and the VB weekender bags are perfect for girls! I adore my VB weekender bag and I really need to replace some Lock & Lock but I keep resisting. LOL.
  21. Same here on buying the store brand staples so I don't earn much, if any at all. I'm disappointed they are doing this but I don't think it will be a huge loss for me.
  22. ugh.....sigh. I always go over but this year i just can't. I'm looking to have a budget of $50, maybe $60 on the big three that I must buy. I'm still going to try to do Angel Tree gifts buy maybe only one Angel this year instead of 2 or 3. Trying to budget for an outdoor wireless camera/doorbell for myself. Otherwise I need nothing else and I certainly don't need another durn Koh's throw.
