I placed an order through buy.com and used google checkout, accidently had the order shipped to me, rather than to my in-laws, so cancelled first order. They charged me for both immediately and it took about a week or so to obtain my credit, but only had to request once. While I appreciate being able to save by using google checkout, I don't like the long delay between google checkout and the vendor. I placed my order 12/5, but it was at least 12/12 before my order showed up with a status at buy.com and another week before it shipped.

I use it on socks for my son or new t-shirts...I got him 6 pair of Adidas no show socks for 54 cents:)

I was trying to check the status of an order from buy.com and got the same message.

I've ordered several things from overstock over the last month or so. They typically use the post office and it's taken about 6 days to receive each order after it's shipped (for me anyway).

They had the bundle at Kohl's last night at 20 or 25% off. Also, it's in Best Buy's ad this week. You can check out the Best Buy website, put it in your cart and opt for store pick up to make sure the store near you has it in stock before going there. I just bought this for this for my 17 year old son and he LOVES it!!! And so does his dad ;-)

Are you looking only for the classic controller? My target has had a good supply of Wii Remotes, but I haven't seen many classic controllers.

I had mine shipped to my mother's house for Christmas and had her open it tonight. Only two mics and 4 cds However, one of the cds has Daydream Believer on it, so that almost makes up for the small number of cds

My son loved them! Like another poster, he got them around 7-8 years old and just recently took them to his high school electronics class to use as the body for his remote control car.

I don't have it in hand yet, but I have a tracking number from UPS and it's enroute. It's estimated arrival date per UPS is 12/4/06. I'll you know when I have it:yup:

For those who ordered the Wii through JC Penney, I just received my shipping confirmation and tracking number this morning....it's due to arrive December 4

I received another free shipping code for any purchase over $49, it's MASHED. Call and give them that one and see if it helps.

I have an e-mail confirmation that says it should ship on Dec 4 and notes say it should arrive 4-7 days after that...keeping my fingers crossed.

When the console is in your cart there is a box just below it on the left hand side that says "I have a promotional code", put a check in the box and then click proceed to check out. It should then go to a screen allowing you to put in the code.

Try calling the 1-800 number and see if they will let you modify order, tell them you clicked too fast. My confirmation now says TBD in ths shipping total...hope it still is free...

Wal-Mart Bundle is back...just ordered it

I was in line at 4:45pm at Best Buy yesterday for the system to go on sale at 8am the next morning. I stayed until about 7pm, then my son took over, I brought him coat, chair, pillow and sleeping bag, brought by Subway around 9 and let him warm up in the car. Went back around 5am with breakfast and hot chocolate and let him nap in the car for about 1.5 hours. He was exhausted, but number 17 in line and the store had 36 systems (and an additional 12 Core) ;-) Both son and hubby very happy!
