The leapster system at Value City is NOT a handheld. That's one that you hook up directly to a TV. $30 is the going price for that system.

Kohl's has leapster games (not l-max) on sale in the stores for $18.74 today only. I just called and they were going to reserve a few for me for later. My mom can use her senior discount, so they'll only be about $15.00. Can't do much better than that.

Walmart's games are $24.98 in store - $16.88 on line (but everything is pretty much out of stock). Shipping for 2 games was $9. So, it comes out to the same amount.

I bought my son (4 yrs old) a Leapster L-Max last night at Meijers for $69.99 for Christmas. This was the best price I could find. Does anyone know where to get good prices on games. The games are quite expensive (approx $28). Thanks!

Got the L-max today at Meijer for $69. Still debating about the Vsmile pocket because the games are a lot less money. Games for the Vsmile are BOGOF tomorrow (TUES) at Kmart.

Sam's return policy is SUPER!!! I bought a Sony 32 inch TV in April of 2005. Two weeks ago, it stopped working. I returned it with no problem. Just remember to keep your receipt, manuals and UPC codes from the box. I upgraded to a 40 inch LCD and it is great. A friend of mine returned a vacuum cleaner to Costco that stopped working after a few years and they too took it back with no hassles. For big ticket items, I wouldn't go anywhere else but Sam's or Costco. Happy Thanksgiving!!

What a deal!

INGREDIENTS: 5 large flour tortillas 1 bunch green onions, chopped 4 ounces chopped green chiles, drained 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 8 ounces sour cream 1/2 pound Cheddar cheese, shredded salt and pepper to taste salsa, sour cream, guacamole, or your favorite dip ideas PREPARATION: Have tortillas at room temperature. Place the remaining ingredients in a bowl mix with an electric mixer on low until well combined. Spread mixture thinly and evenly over tortillas to within 1/8-inch of edge. Roll up jelly-roll fashion and wrap each tortilla in plastic wrap. Refrigerate overnight. When ready to serve, slice in 3/4 inch rounds and arrange on serving plate. Serve plain or with salsa. Makes about 60 appetizers.

I like to make tortilla wraps Mix softened cream cheese, green onions, olives and green chilies. Spread on flour tortillas. Roll and slice and serve with salsa.
