Google wifi is still dual band. I recently just put in the Netgear Orbi AC3000 in my house, as I was experiencing drops, etc. I work from home a lot and this happening during my calls sucked. We haven been very pleased with the orbi. We get strong signal across all 3 levels of our house, no noticeable speed change across sattelites, no change in ssid, and even strong signal in our back yard and quite a ways down our street. It's $349 at Costco vs $369, even cheaper. Woohoo!

I'm not a fan of it. I don't want to negotiate time with my family because of shopping time. I do want and need to take advantage of sales where I can to stretch my dollar, but not at the expense of my family time. I do go out Thanksgiving evening, but I won't go early to get in line and wait. I know I'll miss out on things, but I'll find other things. I love the deals, but feel bad for those who have to work. The stores are in the hole, and tempt us with great deals to get themselves in the black. Family is the last thing from their minds. Not a new opinion here, but definitely shared.

My family had a great time over break working on the puzzles together, learning card tricks and games, etc. We went on a road trip and the coloring books and crayons were a hit with my girls. And I might be flaunting my Broncos keychain in my husband's face a bit -- he happens to be a KC Chiefs fan! ha ha Thanks again, we LOVED all of our cool items you gifted us.

I received mine last week while I was out of town. Was a nice welcome home after a rough week. Received some cool puzzles, my favorite candy - Whoppers, a cranberry candle that smells lovely, and two gift bags for my girls (how sweet of my SS to include them!). So after we get our tree and get it decorated, I will sneak them under there for them to wake up to, so we can practice for Christmas! Thanks to my awesome Santa! I also forgot to mention a card game for the family to play, which we played this last weekend at my sister's 40th birthday party. Everyone loved it, and some playing cards and a keychain of my fav team, the Denver Broncos! My girls woke up Sat morning to their little presents under the tree, and they got coloring books and crayons. Perfect timing for our 2 hour roadtrip. Thanks again SS, for spoiling all of us!

Becky in Kansas City here. Been lurking on gottadeal for longer than I've been married! Lurked for a year, been official for 7 (gottadeal, not marriage. ha ha), have two daughters aged 3 & 2. Hub's pretty cool; now when planning his days off each year, he takes my birthday, AND black friday! We'll be buying for the kids, neices/nephews, parents, and brothers/sisters. Mostly for the kiddos, though.

Was at a local target today.... still only 30% off.

So in Nebraska, this was the warmest black friday I've been out in to date. However, it was still 45 degrees out. We were in line at Nebraska Furniture Mart; around 3:30am, there was a family (two parents and another adult) that came in to get in line. They had 2 young kids with them, around 6-8, and then they were pushing two strollers with a baby and a toddler. I was cold, I can't imagine bringing my babies and kids out. Poor things. We were in line at 7:30pm, and there was a group of high school kids in the front of the line, and an awful lot of various kids behind us. More kids this year than in the past.
