I am pretty new to the apple famliy but I do know that they don't hardly ever go on sale. But I was wondering since a few places are having them for $45.00 off on black friday, what are the chances of them being $45.00 off on the apple website? Any thoughts?

Does anyone know if these are going to be available online through Best Buy and if the web address in the ad underneath the ipad is the address that you go to to get it when it goes on sale? Thanks in advance :)

The lines around here are crazy as well. I just had knee surgery and don't think there is anyway I would risk going out and possibly having my knee reinjured. I would just say call around to the stores where you want to go and see if they can help you out.

We opted for the Target deal... But we got 10% off and a $20.00 gift card. I think the gift card was in last weeks sale ad. But the 10% off coupon is good till the 26th.

I sooo agree! I got a laptop about 2 years ago from the BB black friday website and it took them till 3:30 for it to go live but it was well worth it! I was in my pj's, had a nice cup of hot tea. Watched the 11pm news and saw all the people lined up at BB, thanking God that I didn't have to be out there. lol

Oh wow! I didn't know about Kmarts hours! Fortunately, I have done most of my shopping online with the exception of going to Target to get an ipod. I love amazon prime and kohls! Maybe it's not just time yet but I thought there were better deals in previous years for amazon's lightening deals.

I would think that if you work for a retail store, you have some knowledge that it will be open for black friday. When I was a nurse, I covered many a Christmas and Thanksgiving shifts, before I had kids so the ones that did have kids could be at home with their kids. All in all there are some professions and jobs that require someone to be there. At least they are not opening up at 7am on Thanksgiving day like Big Lots.

I would love an ipad to use for work, but I know that isn't happening so I guess I will settle with whatever my creative husband gives me :)

Where hasn't the elf been?!?! lol lol fireplace mantle, top of the curtain rod, top of a lamp, sitting in a mug on a shelf, top of the tv, just about anywhere I can see a spot to put him where he is looking in the general area of the couch, loveseat and recliner.. lol I've even had to run down the next morning and move him because I forgot to do it the night before. lol

I'm in southeastern va, not that far from you when I went to Target here and got the 8g ipod touch and it came up automatically on the register for the cashier to scan a gift card. I actually saw it on the screen, like he had to do that to get to the next step of the checkout process. I would definitely call them and ask about it. I was there this morning. Hope this helps.

Darla - I know how to get the apps there :) I was wanting to know how to tell if the game needed to have a connection to be played once on the ipod, maybe I should have worded it like that. dwc designs answered that for me. Yes!! I want ownership back!!! lol Happy Shopping y'all!
