  1. Whoa! Ok, this isn't a great deal but I had to pass it on. Target now carries the wooden Thomas the Trains! Yikes! This was the last "safe" store I could go in with my daughter w/o having to "need" to buy yet another train!
  2. THANKS!! My daughter loves Thomas!!
  3. Just got an email today saying one of my two have shipped. ??? What?? They are both coming to my house. Can't they ship them at the same time??
  4. Nope. I checked on the shipment status and it said "In Fulfillment" which means the order is being filled but hasn't been shipped yet. I ordered it Oct. 5. I can't wait for it to come though!!!
  5. I noticed you are from Anderson. I live in Indy. If you're a member of Costco they have train tables with the train set for $129.00. We got one for Christmas last year for my daughter and she has loved it.
  6. Absolutely. I've noticed that with many stores. Even the Auto Zone here does that. The size of the stores vary as well as what they carry.
  7. I've often wondered this same thing. Can you PM me this site too? Thanks a billion!! :)
  8. lovetoshopCA, the leapad was just randomly thrown on the clearance toy shelf. It is the one for 4-6 yr olds. I was shocked to see it laying there as I don't remember seeing any of these on clearance before. ??? I'll keep my eye out for more.
  9. Today I was at Target in the toys and noticed a Leapad thrown on one of the clearance shelves. I scanned it and it said "item not found." In to the cart it went!! When I got to the check out I told the cashier about it not having a price. (she was a younger gal I picked on purpose). She said it was telling her to enter the price. I looked over a my dd who is 3 and was talking to her. The girl wasn't too sure what to do and just said "how about $9?" I said "I'll take it." !!!:) Yeah!! Another Christmas gift on the super cheap!!
  10. Hooray!! I found the train table for $19.99 and the train set for $4.24!! Other great toy deals were the dominoes for $2 the vs pockets that everyone has been getting, and a few other random toys that were such great deals. I saw they had the Bratz summer pool set for $12. My dd is way too young but if anyone is looking..
  11. Just got back from Target in Indy. Still nothing different yet. There was one lonely guy with a cart of Brats dolls he was moving to the isle that has the signs 30% off. Some of the other isles have been cleared quite a bit. Still waiting......
  12. Thanks lovetoshopCA. That's what I meant. The one that my parents bought was just the table. I *think* all the ones at Target are just the table and that's why they sell the separate track set w/trains?? Just my guess though.
  13. My mom bought the same train table for my dd last year and we use some Thomas trains on it. Usually all of the wooden trains are interchangeable. Be careful though when buying Thomas trains. They have the Thomas on the go trains that can't be used on the wood track, only the plastic one. Our target has a wooden track and train set for on clearance for $12. I think they are usually $20.
  14. Hee hee. I was there today to (on 38th). We probably passed one another. :) This morning there was still not too bad of a selection. I went to the new Super Target off Michigan and they were wiped out. Still waiting on toys.....
  15. Thanks for the info!! Much appreciated. I don't have time to waste with trial and error so other's experiences help me to best figure out what will work best for me.
  16. I've got a question. *If* my Target follows the markdown schedule, say toys for example are scheduled to be marked down on Wednesdays, does that mean when the doors open they'll be marked down or they mark them down during the day on Wednesday??
  17. I was at Target in Indy today. While their toys were still 30% off it looked as if they had added more toys on clearance that weren't there before. I picked up a Little People Preschool for $17 and hit the dollar spot since it was packed of teacher supply items.
  18. I was at my Target today and bought my dd a TJ Bearytales for $15 and a Leapfrog card game for $2.47!! I was so happy! I'll put them up for Christmas though. There were a ton of toys on clearance too. And not just on the end caps either. Still waiting for the outdoor stuff to drop to 50% off.
