Children! of any and all age. They all should be at home and let their grown people handle business.

Why couldn't you give out a ticket for $1 towels? 1 ticket ensures you get X amount of product and that's it. I WISH they would do this, I have gotten hurt at walmart in the crowd before and it is always utter chaos.

My tip is have a team with you. The more people the better but make sure they are prepared, understand what they are getting into and aren't shy about going after things.

I am SO ready, c'mon ads!

Getting my head slammed into a pallet over sheets at Walmart a few years back. I was none too happy and ever since then they have made a line you have to stand in instead of a free for all like it used to be.

I still make my list on paper, I don't know why but I do.

Almost but not quite. I buy things online through GottaDeal starting around October, then 95% stuff on Black Friday then throw in about 5% amazon lightening deals.

No the earliest I've gone out if maybe 5-6 hours early? No need to camp out but if I needed to I would.

The first year Walmart rolled out the Secret Saturday deal before Black Friday and I got my parents a SMOKIN' good deal on a TV. No one knew what I was doing or why I was hugely pregnant sitting on the floor waiting for a register to open at 8 am but eventually people figured it out and lined up with me. Just regular people doing normal shopping who heard what I was waiting for and decided they too were going to leave with a TV, haha!

Walmart hands down followed by Target so I can price match at WM

ALWAYS! It's pretty much the one time of year I don't feel guilty for buying more than a few things for myself.

I am really hoping for Disney infinity at a good price!

I always planned on going into the store and got everything I really needed, but I did get things I had planned to buy at Walmart online at other stores prior to Thursday. If they would have put their ad online they would have gotten that revenue from me instead of Kmart, kohls etc getting it. I will ALWAYS be an in store Black Friday shopper, but stores are fools if they don't realize most of us do online, mobile and in store shopping and need to cater to all 3 of those.

I had a great time at Walgreen's as well. A line was forming when I showed up, but it was a group of women doing some sort of couponing/stacking RR because they ran, dumped entire cases of shampoo, toothpaste etc ( aka nothing that was a crazy deal) into their carts and that was the only craziness. Got tons of toys and left a happy girl!

I too gave up on the online sale and arrived at my WM at 4pm. I was 2nd in line for trampoline and husband was second in line for the PS3 games and sheets. Yep, our store had sheets/towels/PS3 games in a roped off area and would only let 10 people in at a time and had a limit on how many sheets/towels you could get. Between the trampoline being a ticketed item and the way they set up the sheets and game I got EVERY single item on my list in my basket by 8:20 and was home by 9 pm. Walmart online was a bust, but in store it was awesome.

I ended up actually snagging a few things- a scooter, an easel, a few Barbies ( not the $2.99 ones though of course they were not in stock)Bummed I couldn't manage to get the cheap Barbies or $5 doll because I live 5+ hours from Kmart so going into store is not an option. Oh well, just happy with what I got that eliminates those items from my WalMart list so now I have more time to focus on the bigger things I need from there.

I could only find a thing or two I wanted all the others were not in stock or not even able to find them. Oh well, guess Target won't be a stop for me online or in store this year.

Glad I decided to go to sleep as well. Oh well, I know where I will be come 4 pm today!
