They both have the leappads from last Christmas but won't stay off my kindle fire LOL. I will look at the innotab and nabi2

My 4 and 5 year olds both want a kindle fire for Christmas. I think they might be a little young and I am leaning towards the new tabeo from Toys r us. Any input or ideas which is better for their ages would be appreciated.

My kids also love those movies. However my hubby bans Christmas movies until after Thanksgiving! We sometimes "sneak "one in when he is not home!

Las Vegas for me too. Not too cold, but socks and shoes required. I was so excited that when I left after dinner last hear I forgot to change out of flip flops. Lol My feet were freezing!

I am done with my 3 kids and my 10 nieces and nephews. With the exception of a big (physically) gift for my DS 4 1/2. My DD got a vanity table and my other DS got a climber, but I am at a loss for the oldest. Any suggestions????? I still need to shop for all the parents (6 of them), my sister, 2 SIL and 1 BIL. Not too bad overall. Plus everything I have bought I have wrapped. Yay, I am adhead this year.

I think that will be a hit! Stuff like that always seems to get "stolen" at the white elephant parties I have been to.

I am so thankful that I ordered what I needed from Walmart online as most problems seem to be there! I was at TRU and we had police at the entrance so people didn't rush the doors and the employees only let in a certain number of people in at a time. The store also had a line for eletronics and they regulated how many people could get into the section at a time. No reason to push given. The employees knew where everything was and it was a great experiance. I am sad some people have to deal with such craziness!

I got several things from Walmart early in the week inclucing a black wii with mario cart and just dance 3, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2 for 15.50, a vanity table for my dd3, and my 42" TV. I got in line for TRU at about 6 and got all 38 items on my list including 2 of the 199 power wheels and the mater power wheels. My TRU was so organized I was out of there by 10. Every employee knew where every doorbuster was. I enlisted my 17 yo cousin to help me. She parked 2 carts in the jiggzaw puzzle line and I went and picked up the toys. Neeless to say I am done shopping for my older two (3 and 4). And 7 of my nieces and nephews. I went back to TRU/BRU around noon to find my one year old his Christmas outfit and did a walk around. Every item that was on sale seemed to be gone! I am glad I went early. I also went to payless to get new dress shoes for the kids and used the 20% off coupon I got for being early in line at TRU. My BF was successful and a lot of fun. My cousin is already talking about next year and she doesn't even have kids (thank GOD LOL). By the time she does she will be a pro!

Since I found this site a few months ago I have loved it. I plan on sticking around all year!

I too am shopping without my bff this year. She moved out of state. I had to enlist some of my family members!

My day is actually quite tame this year. I decided against trying to go to 3 houses for the day. This year I will watch the parade with my kids, then head over to my dad's house for dinner. After dinner there (about 4) I will drop the kids off to my mom (her birthday will be celebrated then). I will head to TRU after getting rid of the kids.LOL. I plan to be there by 6 at the latest. After TRU I am going to Walmart, then the BX. Then home probably to NO sleep. Oh well!

Thurday it will be a high of 64 and a low of 46. Friday it looks like 61 high 48 low. Not too bad!

I agree. I think Walmart should have everyone line up and pass out tickets like best buy. It saves the mad rushes in the store for many of the hot items. I will not be going to Walmart til after I go elsewhere and it has calmed down a bit.

Most teachers won't have a problem with candy/chocolate. The homemade stuff should be fine too. My school district doesn't allow us to give the kids homemade stuff, but the teachers can do what they want.

I too use my bra. Very safe! My girls don't let anything fall out! In the past I have used a hoodie with a zippered pocket inside the pocket in the front, but I have not found another like it.

I use that app too! I love it because it is keeping me organized. The only problem I have is that it shows me how much I have already spent!
