I think that I am supposed to get the NF in the next day or so.:) When you buy those Uggs, I highly recommend www.cozyboots.com for no shipping and no sales tax. They have great customer service and have a nice selection of kids and adults Uggs. One of my DDs can fit into a kids size 5 (I think it's like a ladies size 7). Those Cardys are really cute. They are much cuter in person than in the picture.Thanks!! I will check out Cozyboots. With what I save buying the Denali (don't worry my D does have a winter coat to wear in spite of the return lol) and returning the other stuff will offset the Cardy's by a good amount and my D really only wanted the Denali anyway.

This is still going on but sizes are getting limited. Hardly any Large and Xlarge left. However, the code 459 for 15% off does work on those extra soft thermal TNF Denali's which brings them down to $85, w/ Free Ship and no tax for me!! I am ordering one of those (since it is what D really wants anyway) and returning her Nuptse and Khumba Fleece I bought a few weeks ago. i will be ahead enough where it won't hurt so much when I finally buy her those Ugg Cardys!!

I thought it would be cool to start a thread for deals on Gift Cards. I am not talking about Ebay or Craig's but promo deals restaurants and stores are running on GC's this year. (Maybe the mods would even make it a sticky?)
I noticed that my local Applebee's is running a special where if you buy $50 in GC's you get a $10 bonus card.
Also, Lowe's is having a special for every $100 GC you buy you get a $20 GC by mail (if your request is postmarked by 12/8 they are guaranteeing you will get the $20 GC before 12/24).
Anyone else seen any good deals on GC's?

Thanks so much!! $57 shipped for the Leapster and 2 games!! I was so bummed I missed out on the Walmart deal for BF but this is almost as good and I didn't have to wait in line!

I was just at my Walmart and the $2 DVD's are still ringing up for $2!!!! They have a green promo sticker on them and they were near the front of the store. I got: Man in the Iron Mask, The Aviator, March of the Penguins, Alexander, and the Tenacious D movie all for $2 each!! The yellow promo sticker movies are still ringing for $6, and the red stickers for $5. My Walmart still also had a ton of the mini crockpots for $4 so I would check yours for BF leftovers.

The best advice I got was to just go out and buy the Wii Play game bc it comes w/ a remote. It is about $40 on sale at various places but you get the game and the remote so it is a little less painless that way.

25. What do you want for Christmas this year? This is a big deal. I want people to stop concentrating so much on what they don't have and what they cannot afford and stop worrying about what might happen. This Christmas my cousin Lisa's kids will probably wake up to more presents than most kids will ever see but they will not have the one thing they really want, their mother back. My Aunt will not have her daughter, Laura will not have her sister, and Joe will not have his wife. I wish that when people are so concerned with themselves and cursing the holidays for being too expensive or that people are too hard to buy for or that there are too many demands on their time please realize that my cousin's children will never be able to buy back their mother's life and the time they had with her will never be long enough. Tomorrow would have been Lisa's 30th birthday, if you are lucky enough to have reached your 30th birthday or have seen your son's first day of kindergarten or your daughter's first school dance these are things that Lisa never got to experience. Consider yourself blessed.

We went last night to upgrade oldest D's phone. I was shocked how much they have gone up in the last week. The sales girl pretty much said don't buy one now. She took our numbers and said she would call me when a better deal comes up. I said well I will be around on Friday (the mall) so I will check in with you then.

I wonder about this too. If GS has a flyer in my local paper I may try to get WM to match it but either way our local GS is in the same mall as CC and I would MUCH rather attempt GS on BF than CC!

Yes, but a lot of peoples unemployment checks are bigger than my paycheck. It is hard to find anything positive when my daughter's tuition is increasing by 25% next year and my income will not be.

Got my bonus today, an email stating no cost of living increase and no merit raises for next year. Also, an additional Christmas bonus, this will be the last year of company core contributions to our 401K's. Yippee for me!

My AT&T sales guy (from the Quickfire deal of last week) was calling me and my D yesterday. Must be wanting to make a deal on the other 2 lines needing upgrade on our plan. I couldn't talk bc I was at work and D will be home this weekend so maybe we will check it out.

The Kmart Thanksgiving Day ad has them listed for 50% off. That is a big reason I will trek over to Kmart that morning, my D's dorm is apparently very cold (you would think for $6000 a year they could afford to heat and ac a little better!)
