My DH and I look for this every year!! We always wait to see when we can spot the parent bringing a small child out on BF. There is at least 1 every year. There is nothing wrong with bringing out teens on BF, actually I think it's a great idea. My DD is almost 11 and my DH wants her to come out with us in a couple years. I think a mature 12 year old could do fine if sticking with mom and dad. It's the babies and toddlers that get my DH and I so upset. We were standing on line at Target at 10pm and it was Cold!! We saw 2 different Moms with babies in strollers and 1 with a 2-3 year old. I just don't understand how that is a good idea. Its super cold, its the middle of the night and its a lot of crowds. I think its very irresponsible. There is no sale good enough to risk the health,happiness, or well being of my kids.

I am going for this too. Did anyone notice that on the black friday maps page on Target.com this doesn't show up? They tell you where to go for a lot of similar things but not this exact bundle! I had having to be anywhere near the " gaming" section on BF and I don't want to be wondering around and miss this item b/c I don't know where to go.

I can't believe it....I have nothing to buy at TRU except Moon dough! I will maybe pick up a couple princess things for neice and Best Friends daughter. But that won't be until later in the morning. Crazy thing is...I still don't know for sure where I am going to start this year. last year it was at TRU. The 9pm opening is crazy!

Wow I was happy to see that walmart will be price matching officially on BF and it also seems like it is saying they pm Friday sales on their Thursday Event. Maybe I will be going to walmart this year after all.

No I think that is the toss game. This is the "knock on wood" game. I think you pick a card that shows you a way to build up with plastic blocks and then you launch little angry birds at it with a sling shot type thing. It's very cool.

did they? wow I had no idea..thanks for that info! I am going to have to look into that. When did they price match for? was it like starting 12am on BF or Thanksgiving day? If you remember. I usually would just pick up these things while in WM for other stuff but I just don't know if I am going to make it there this year.

I agree about the toys! I was surprised that there wasn't more toys since the cover page specifically said "TOYS and more" @ 10pm. That xbox bundle for 199 is a great deal! I actually got intimidated looking at that thinking about crowd control lol. I want a kinect this year. We have xobx already. The $99 is really good. About $30 less then I have found anywhere else. Talked to DH about it and we really don't feel that $30 is worth having to leave thanksgiving dinner early. But...we will see. I feel the ad is great! I am just so torn on how I am going to manage time this year. Hum... this has intrigued me more to see the other stores ads!! And I have to say wow this is a big change for people. I really wonder how the general public (not bf lovers like ourselves) are going to react to this. I know that it might be difficult for people to be at Walmart before 10pm.... Don't forget Thanksgiving Day is the most traveled day in America. I wonder if people will be up for getting to dinner and having to leave again. Its going to be interesting that's for sure.

Congrats on getting it! Yes, in store pick up means your local store had it in stock. My Local Target told me yesterday that they were getting a shipment in this morning and it should be on the shelves by 9am. So I am heading there this morning. fingers crossed. DS really wants this! And ....they had it! Yes! so glad I don't have to worry about that or the leap pad tablet. And I have my saved receipts so if anything goes on sale I will be ready!

My DH and I started BF shopping 8 years ago. Boy have we learned a lot since then! Our first year we went a little crazy and spent over $600 on just toys. (We had 1 dd 3 yrs old!) Now we use mostly cash and for the first time this year I have started to buy things before the BF ads are out. We have fought for Hannah Montana dolls and I have shopped 3 months pregnant with morning sickness We have waited outside in freezing temps and watched stores get stormed with line cutters. I would do it all over again! Over the years we have calmed down and really enjoy the day more. We love to see people in a frenzy And we usually try for 1 big ticket sale item for our Kids. I remember the first year we got up at 5am! (seems so late now!) Our family thought we were nuts when we got up at 3am for Kohl's a few years back. Then last year we were at TRU by 8pm! I don't think we will ever stop BF shopping. (Well maybe when were like 80! ) We really love it and its a special time for us to have together. Our kids are safe and asleep at Grandmas and we get most of our Christmas shopping done in 1 day. How long have you been shopping on BF? How have you changed? What is the biggest thing you have learned since you first started BF shopping?

It's not actually available at Kmart. Once you put it into your cart and attempt to check out it tells you they don't have it. Thanks for the the other info!

angry birds board game...ugh. I went to TRU,Kmart,and Target to today...nada. Then I got home and Target.com says my store has it in stock! errr. I am going to call them in the Morning and see if they really have it. Amazon is selling it for almost $30 now and I am not paying that. I did pick up the Leap frog bundle from TRU today and there was only 3 left. Lady said they just found them last night in the back and they would be gone by the end of today. She said it was a super hot item.

I originally missed 11/5's webcast and I see that it is posted and really enjoyed watching it this morning. Is it possible to see the toy specific webcast that aired after? I don't see that on there and would love to see it.

Just looked at the JcPenny ad....Darn Rebates all over that thing!! I am so not happy about this.

Wait what do you mean? You don't get back what you paid if you have to return something? I would be livid!

I don't think the rebates are hard to fill out and I have done them in the past. I just don't like fronting money. And btw even on plastic your paying interest on that extra money.

I really hate rebates! I am a cash buyer for Holiday shopping and I don't want that extra money out of my pocket while I wait for a rebate that won't come until after Christmas. I like the store cash at Kohls but not at some of these stores who say..."This price after bucks or store cash." I want to pay the sale price NOW and move on to my next store. Sorry had to rant about this. It's been bothering me for years! Anyone Agree? or Disagree?

I am really not happy with this ad. Kohls has sales like this all the time! I see a few good deals....but not enough for me to go there as one of my first stops. I didn't see too much that was so drastically different then the big sales they have on a regular day.

Last year DH and I took my SIL for the first time with us on BF. We were waiting at WM for the Nintendo DS for our DS. So in our WM the way it worked was they had us wait in an isle until 4am (could have been 5am I forget now) for the item. So we were there around 2 and sat in the isle for 2 hours waiting. WELL this was the cleaning products isle...So like after 2 hours were all kinda high from the fumes of all the chemicals! Add that to no sleep. (we were on line at TRU by 8pm before going there.) We were laughing and getting really goofy! Then this woman in the next isle shows up and starts yelling about how she didn't know they opened at 12 blah blah blahh and Me, DH and my SIL are laying on our coats in the chemical isle hysterical laughing and reading magazines someone took from the registers to read while we waited! It was a blast. SIL only made it to like one more store after this before falling asleep in the car. I WISH I had a picture of this moment! This thread has inspired me to take some pictures this year with my phone! I <3 BF

I have mixed feelings. I never sleep good that night anyway b/c I am thinking about my plan.

look at all those FB posters!! If they don't post the ad people are gonna be freaking out!! I feel like they are def giving off the impression that the sneak peak is coming today.
