I would like to get a couple of GPS systems to give my parents for Christmas. I've never bought one so does anyone know what would be a good price to look for on BF? If I can't get a good one for less than $100 then I will get a different gift. Is that doable or am I way off?

I am preparing by spending way too time on the gottadeal forums but at least I will not miss a deal. :)

Target has a clothing line from Shake it up. My girls got a shirt each right before school started.

Does anyone have a Kindle with the special offers? Do they pop up when you are reading? I would like to get the $79 one for my mom and my MIL but I don't want them to have to constantly be bothered by ads.

"Santa Baby" by Taylor Swift is my dd3's favorite song. We've been listening to this all year and now my other 2 girls are singing other Christmas songs.

I've always made sure the kids have had the same number of gifts. They are still too young to pay attention to the cost of their gifts (10, 7, 3) but they know how many gifts they each recieve. This year I downloaded the Santashop app to help me keep track of how much I'm spending on all of my gifts and what I have bought. Best part is it's password protected so when the kids are playing on my iPod they won't see what I've bought. :)

I also think toys are not made as well as they used to be but I think it mostly depends on what you are buying. Toys with lights, sounds and special functions seem to break more easily. For example, my dd3 jumped up and down everytime she saw the Magic Rise Oven on tv last year. We bought it for her with some extra accersories and nothing worked on it. It was a complete dud so it went back to TRU a few days after Christmas. I'm going to read reviews on most everything we buy this year to see if there are problems.

My dd10 also wants one. I have searched online and I remember reading that they would be out in October but I don't remember an exact date.

I called my WM store today (TN) and was told that they will start passing out wristbands at midnight. Our store will not be closing on Thanksgiving day. I asked if I would be able to get a wristband for 2 different items and she said I "should" depending on if there were wristbands left. I'm seriously hoping I do not have to stand in line until 5 am. I wanted to roam the store after I get my wristband(s).

Thanks for the info! The one question I still have is will you be able to get more than one major black friday deal? I want to get a computer and an Ipod. Will I have to stay in the one line or can you get a wristband then move to the next line?

Can you buy the 5am door busters online? I need several including the ds lite and the ipod touch with the gift card. It seems like it would be much easier to get them online. If you can, do you still have to wait until 5am to get Black Friday price? Thanks!
