The past few years the ad for CVS has been better from the Sunday - Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Will have to keep an eye out for that one.

Man forgot to check back in on this post...#forumfail! Last year I'm guessing the deals were better because I got to the 24 hour CVS at 12:30am and the store was PACKED with people and a lot of the Free after ECB items I wanted were sold out. This year I got to CVS at like 11:45pm and it was DEAD! I was able to get everything I wanted except the free Advil because they never got it in so she wrote me a rain check. I paid $60 out of pocket and ended up with $40 ECB (it's just easier for me to do one big transaction). I don't know if anyone else saw it but then on Monday I found out that in some regions you can put $150 on a prepaid paypal mastercard and get $50 ECB!! So I went back to CVS on Monday and got that! So now I have about $90 in ECB to use before Christmas. Anyone headed to CVS for midnight or tomorrow morning for the 26 free items (after ECB)? We have our shirts on and are headed out the door!! w00t!

Well the thing I was going to buy on black friday was cheaper today...I got the kitchenaid for $135 after mail-in rebate. My mom, my cousin and my aunt are splitting it 4 ways for my sisters shower gift.

My shirts came in today!! W00t! Super excited!

I'm looking for Family Dollar! My cousin works there and she says that the BF ads are different for each region..I always thought BF ads were pretty standard around the country I think their bosses just said that so no one would leak them. Has Dollar General been posted? I can't remember I always like the usually already cheap stores I can usually get some interesting things. Last year we got a microwave for $30.

HA I was thinking I wish this was a spreadsheet for me to save in my "Black Friday" Dropbox file with all my ads. I really want The Office on DVD but I bet it's too old now to be on sale for BF

Kohls is having it for $79.99 but JCPenney is having the iChi for $69.99 and then Hot Tools for $39.99. I know people that have compared Chi to Hot Tools. I haven't done enough research of my own yet. I bought my Chi in 2009 or 2010 man it's been forever! from Kohls on BF and it still works great! Best straightener ever! I was able to order it from kohls.com on Thanksgiving day and every year I've been able to get my Kohls items online. If you order from kohls.com you'll get $15 kohls cash for ever $50 ... so I would just order some more stuff to make it $100. But there are almost ALWAYS 20% off online coupons and free shipping over $50 and if you use ebates or swagbucks you can usually get at least 6% back...last year Kohls cash back was really high this time of year. That's what I was going to say. Last year the good "Black Friday" type deals were from Sunday to Wednesday...hoping it comes out soon

I bet DVDs get returned often. I bet people just grab all the cheap DVDs everywhere from shelves passing by that they get home and have no idea what they have purchased and return them. I also wonder how many claim to have no receipt and then get more money in store credit...

Well I got the same 32inch Emerson TV at WM during the 2009 BF and it still works like new...my mom got it the following year and it's still working. My grandma swore by Emerson TVs...I guess we have gotten lucky

I feel like they (and every store) say this EVERY YEAR! Somehow I got talked into going to Arkansas for Thanksgiving....don't know how that happenned...however this means I get to go #BlackFriday shopping in the walmart across the street from their corporate headquarters...this should be interesting.............

The more I read this thread the more confused I got. I currently have an iPad2 but I'm thinking about going down to an iPad Mini (as at times it's too big and i hate having to carry a huge bag for it to fit in - yes guys i just said that lol) and giving my mom my ipad2. But my mom wants to get my sister a tablet of some kind and probably go with an android since they are cheaper..but i'm an apple snob and have no idea about anything in the android market. I'm looking forward to the chart that someone on the forum makes comparing all the different BF items.
