  1. Target does as long as it is not door buster items. And I think you have to get there before 10AM. I know a couple people who buy the week before then walk in to Target after the rush and get a price adjustment.
  2. So as I'm reading the ad....I was thinking. I planned on buying the Wii Just Dance 2 (which has a $10 gift card Free with purchase), the Star Wars II Wii game ($10 Free Gift card), the Toy Story 3 movie, and the $12 straightening iron. Total would be $114.98 before tax. And the ad says you get another $10 GC for spending $100. The fine print on the ad says "Gift Card is in addition to Friday 4-10AM $10 Gift Card" So I could actually walk out with $30 in Gift Cards...??? I don't remember Target doing this last year. There were some items that had a gift card...but not an overall store gift card.

From Target: ~ (1) - Just Dance 2 for Wii - $39.99 w/Free $10 gift card - ~ (1) - Toy Story 3 - $13 ~ (1) - Remmington Straightener - $12 ~ (2) - Kid Tough Doodle - $20 ~ (2) - DS games - $14 ($7 each) TOTAL - $498.98 With $2 left over....a small hot chocolate from Starbucks!
  4. I think the ad was more positive then negative. Last year, I only got 1 thing from Target. I wasn't impressed at all with the ad last year. This year there are about 3 or 4 things I'm interested in. Mostly games for the Wii or board games. Some other small stuff. I'm not interested in the Doorbuster items...just don't need any of those. But I do like get a $10 gc for buying this item or spending $100. I could easily hit $100 on BF there. We usually start out at Target since they open early here. But with Old Navy opening at Midnight, we might venture over there first then head to Target for the rush. I do enjoy a good opening door rush. As long as no one gets hurt. With the stores opening earlier...we'll have to sit down and make a plan.
  5. Each store might be different but I know ours is a different game. I can't remember the name right now....I'll try and remember.
  6. I don't know if it will be true for all stores...but our ON store hours on Thanksgiving Day from 9AM - 8PM. Then open back up again at midnight on Black Friday and stay open until 11 PM BF night.
  7. Last year I was in line at Meijiers waiting for the 1/2 priced Wii Fit at 1 AM. So once the paper was delivered, we all got copies and started going through them then. It probably was around 5 AM or so.
  8. I did Black Friday once when my oldest was about 2 yrs old. But we didn't stand in line...we started early at like 7am. Then I didn't BF for a long time. I've been going every year for the last 4 yrs. Watching ads, looking for prices, looking a coupons and mapping out where I want to go and seeing if I can get a better deal somewhere else. Every year I think I get better and better at it. My husband thinks I'm crazy but he just lets me do my thing.
  9. I was wondering the same thing on this. It honestly can't hurt to ask. It's not a Black Friday Door Buster item...Target just happens to be offering it for less.
  10. Here it's usually 40% off but you also get Justice Bucks for a later purchase. One year I spent $40 and got $60 in Justice Bucks.
  11. I called our local Target and they said they should be getting the catalog in any day now. That they will be in the toy section on an end cap. She said she doesn't know when exactly since the sale starts on 11/3. So I think I might just drop by our Target to check.
  12. The only book that was in the paper this week here was the Kmart toy book. I was going to call our local Target today to see if they would have them in the store today. I usually get coupons mailed to my house from Target even though I don't have their credit card.
