I haven't done a lot of research but a lot of people I've talked to said the plasma are bad about "burning" images into the screen if they are left on. Never have seen this, just heard from people they did.

Must be nice to have no responsibilites and be able to do that. Sucks for working families trying to get their kids laptops, video games from "santa", ect. Money is tight for families:(

I have the same situation but luckily my company changed the policy this year to pay us on Wednesday (my boss is awesome:) But could she put in for a check advance with her work? We had that option at our work if they wouldn't have changed the policy.

I hope this is the right place for this ?. I see American Girl is going to have free shipping until November 22nd. Does any one know if they ever (around Christmas time) have coupons for a % off or anything? I want to get this for my little girl (its her big present) and was wondering if I would be better off going with the free shipping or waiting and they might have the % off coupon. Any advice is appreciated!

My sister and I showed up at Walmart 3 hours before they opened for an ipod and found out people had been standing in line since noon Thanksgiving day for the 4 they were selling. Ended up buying it online for same price and personalized! through Apple while I waited in line for a DS that I could have just bought the next day still for the same price (they had way to many left! ha). But I love it just for the special time I get to spend with my sister and mom;)

I was thinking that the xbox version was on sale at Walmart either this weekend or all week.....not sure, saw it on a post here. I'd look at their ad page and see which dates it was for.....it was $29!

I don't have either but I probably wouldn't buy the instyler unless you can return it. I say this cause I wanted to get one and a coworker had one and brought it in and I was too uncoordinated to use it! ha But she does great with it! I have a Chi Straightener and love it (know your talking about a different one though).

I printed out some online coupons for some DVD's I want to get my ds for Christmas and all three of them were not at my local Walmart (so can't use my coupons). I've checked out Amazon, Walmart.com and DeepDiscount. com for some prices. Does anyone have any other place they go to to get good deals on DVD's? I'm sure they will all be on sale bf but all dvds/games are gone at my local Walmart by the time I make it to them. Thanks for any help!

Ya, the new one doesn't have a bulb and that is why the price is higher I"m assuming. I think we will use it a lot because I had one when I was little and used it all the time. I think the food stuff is over priced but I'd rather get her something we use once a month then a Barbie playset she might plaly with twice (which is how she has done with other the other stuff).

That's what I'm thinking too because we are over an hour from anything but Walmart.

Ya, I saw that it was $10 more at Walmart and so I figured they would drop it down for bf and it's the only store local to me (within 60 miles) so I'm thinking the TRU is the best deal and if it gets really low on bf I'll return it. I also always felt it was a "staple" for bf but this is about twice (almost three times!) what the old Easy Bake Oven goes for. I bought one about 5 years ago for a niece for $10 on bf but it was only originally $20.

I see that Toys R Us has the new "updated" Easy Bake Oven for $34.99. What do you guys think the chances are that it will be on a Black Friday list (Walmart, Toys R Us, ect) and how much do you think it will go for? Thanks for any thoughts!
