Ive seen many bad BF here but not for things I wanted. But last year Target was horrible. Like others said it was wrapped all the way around the parking lot(not a line but line that was like 5 or 6 people wide) and it was just long. It was so many people it wrapped around the parking lot, down the road we have in town. There was no parking place near the line/store I had to park far away and walked and waited in line. Then the people that was running it let way to many people in. There was no space to walk. I didn't get a cart and I wanted big items, but I got some stuff and stood in line for over an hour. And the lines themself were wrapped in each isle you couldn't find it and nobody knew.. Just pointed in a direction. Eventually got out of there and went back later on that day.

I got the money mostly saved only 1-2 months max more to get some extra into it. Another thing is Ive been around here just waiting and hope I get the 1st BF ad even if its a store not here nor I like. Finally iam tring to think Cause I need a bigger truck this year to haul.

Id make a thread about last years exsperience but people are adding in here so.. Like Ive mention before it usually sucks going to BF because I would rather go with somebody to get items but nobody wants to go that early with me. Anyways talking about stores and crowdness/bringing kids(safe?) Ive seen people bring kids/even little ones into the store, hell I even remember my parent/aunt with me and a little kid in the cart on BF. And from what Ive seen then and now I really don't think bringing kid in my town to BF is the greatest but you got to do what you got to do. Many times on BF to this day I tell my GF who will run into me heels this time with cart(usually an old lady each year constantly doing so) Most years its so busy and packed and to crowded when nut stores just open the door for everyone to run pass you. I had a guy next to me knock down few people just shoving.. its like a mosh pit where people pushing the whole crowd through the doors and if you fall oh well. To add our local Target store finally stopped giving carts to people because it was crazy to see people tring to get one and run with them and all they did was hurt people each year. Last year they finally taped off all carts. And if you want big item you got a store employee walk with u with it in a cart. I live not in the biggest/smallest town but we got crazy people on BF. Last year was huge at target. I litterally had to wait in the parking lot for over an hour just to get the crowd in. Finally Target shut the doors after so many people went in cause it was to crowded of people you couldn't move barely in the rows.. I was skipping through bra and pantie section to try to get around(yet couldnt) and it was stand still due to lack of judgement.

This year my best year so far for BF on my single person purchasing. I am buying for 1 person. And last year was sad but 180.00 and this year saved up way early and got 700.00 so big smile and omg comments. Yet this year I hope to find bigger items to buy with it and not all clothing, so it probably won't be to much more presents wrapped under the tree. Also I take all cash with me and into the store. Somebody want my money you can try to steal it, but I wont be nice cause money is my family. Also a bad thing here is since such horrible economy/jobs/nothing happening here. Crime went up and specially in last 3 months a certain pack of people have been robbing all sorts of places/people in daylight and night time/morning. And its with plenty of people outside as well with them. One was at wallyworld and they got few hundred from a lady, so kinda worried about BF coming and they steal money then. But 1 person out of hundreds is a slim and nothing.

Well the stores around here we got/I shop is Jcpenny, Wallyworld/walmart, Target, Kmart, Sears bout it. I shop for a young adult. But I can still buy games/systems for this person because were in our 20's I never did cyber monday. I seen a little and always fig what the heck might as well just buy all on BF .

Many and most may say they go for prices. But personally prices in items I usually buy ain't nothing special. ONLY reason BF for me is still a day of shopping is economy is crap. I could buy all I want but I would spend a little more. But truly its tradition and a weird fun.

I don't really do to much. Most of the time Turkey day is here and I go to family get together eat and stay up all night to go shopping the next day.

Mine would have been Target since I got most of my stuff there then walmart had some extra goodies I had to get.

Since I normally always go by myself. Its usually truck, list of items under each of its stores names that I was going to get. Many times I go shopping and store doesn't have whats in ads. Also take wallet, and huge cup of coffee for sitting in truck for long time.

I have a question. I usually always spend all money on BF never the thanksgiven sale nor after. I ve been told some stores have this and that sale but never see it each year. I was wondering if anyone knows some places they've went to after BF happen. Sometimes they say before xmas is good time. I shop for adults/older teens

I didn't even know what BF was nor understand what it was until 20's. We just never had family shop at this time. Usually they found deals during the year and shopped then. Another thing was I didn't find BF or forums till 20's and Ive been shopping since 6-7 yrs ago.

Ill be spending more this year. Its been really tough for a while due to town not having crap, jobs and job loses, economy is crap. So last few years been really tough, but this year finally get to go shopping for some gifts!
