  1. Can you specify where in the Twin Cities you were at? I am in Blaine and it would be helpful to know which store has already been hit since there are so many in the Twin Cities.
  2. I might have been the one who posted about an additional 30% off clothing. I found some a few weeks ago. A couple of years ago, they really went crazy with it. It was in several departments and was off stuff already 75% off. I got a ton of baby/toddler shoes and was in heaven! I think this was at the height of the recession and they just really needed to move stuff.
  3. The smaller things will go 75% off, it is the larger items that are more difficult to find marked down so far. I have actually made out really good during the two baby clearances, but usually better during the winter one.
  4. The stores in Andover, Coon Rapids (Riverdale), and Blaine, MN were 75% off this morning. Not a whole lot at each store, but I got what I wanted. Stuff was going fast though!
  5. I don't quite understsand what Domestics is versus Housewares either! I would love it somebody could provide some further insight!
  6. I think that Thursday is the day toys are marked down now. That has seemed to be my experience anyway.
  7. I did not walk through the kitchen section. I can keep my eye open for you though. What cookware set are you looking for? Do you only shop the downtown Target?
  8. The stores in the Minneapolis area have gear on clearance. Quite a few items actually. I just got back from my visit to the downtown Minneaoplis store and nothing was 75% off except for the Christmas socks, tights, shoes, etc. A lot more marked down to 50% though.
  9. I am pretty sure it is there, but you have to scroll down further. I wouldn't be surprised if you find some good deals today and a lot more next Monday. I have seen a lot go half off last week and couple of things go 75% last week, so some more might go today. I am going to head that way after a meeting ends at 10 central time, I will report back!
  10. The Blaine, MN store had an additional 30% off clearance clothing in men's and women's and also had the Little People Discovery Airport for 75% off. It made it $9.98. I know what my nephews are getting for Chrstimas next year! I also picked up one for my son due in March, but might just give it to my daughter since she plays with the one they have at the church nursery.
  11. Unrelated to Christmas (gasp!) I found some good deals in baby yesterday. I found 2 crib sheets, one Circo brand (Blaine SuperTarget) and one Tiddliwinks brand (Andover), for 50% off that will match the theme for our baby boy due in March. I also found a fuzzy blanket (Andover) 50% off that was Tiddliwinks brand and a 4 package of Gerber receiving blankets (Blaine SuperTarget) for 75% off. I went to three different stores and the prices were different at each one. I decided to buy some of the items at 50% because I wasn't sure how much they would have left at 75%. The baby stuff seems really picked over already. They were also going through the baby stuff, since it was Monday, and one of the team members pulled a ton of stuff from behind the big items. She found a bike and a Dirt Devil vacuum. I heard her complaining about the new hiding spot to another team member. It was pretty comical.
  12. The Targets in Blaine, Andover, and Coon Rapids (Riverdale), MN were also still at 50%. Glad to see another person from the area on here!
  13. I found big packs of Huggies Snug and Dry size 1-2 and size 6 marked down to $20.98 (originally $30). The 1-2's have 192 in a pack. When you buy 2, they ring up for a $10 gift card, so $16 for a package. I had some coupons and it ended up costing me about 6 cents a diaper. There were also size 4T-5T pulls ups marked from $20 to $8 something. I saw the Pulls Ups at Riverdale in Coon Rapids, MN. Diapers at Andover and Coon Rapids. Also, Halloween wasn't marked 75% off at either store, but was ringing (with the exception of candy, of course).
  14. I got the Olay giftcard deal today, but they had to manually give it to me. The cashier knew that I supposed to get one, but they were not ringing up correctly. Maybe if you bring your receipt back, they can manually give it to you at the customer service desk? Worth a try!
  15. I found a lot of 75% off baby in Lino Lakes, MN too. I picked up a lot great gifts for my brother who is expecting twins in July! Woo hoo! I stopped in Blaine and nothing had been marked down since yesterday. Now I am wondering if I need to run to a different store after naptime?
  16. I agree - that is absolutely not right! Have you complained to management or to corporate?
  17. I have found a lot of baby items 50% - 75% off this week, including: ###A wipe warmer (75% - North St. Paul) ###A toliet seat cover for toddlers (in lieu of a potty chair) (75% - North St. Paul) ###A Baby Bjorn "air" (75% - Andover, MN, I took the last one) ###A heart rate monitor (50% - Andover, MN) ###A big box of Huggies wipes (50% - Andover, MN, I took the last one) #A Bright Starts mobile (50% - Andover, MN) ###I have also seen XL size Good Nights for 50% off at several stores.
  18. Wait, the train I saw waw not Lionel, it was the Christmas Story train!
  19. Midland, TX was marked down to 75% off today! They had a couple of Lionel Trains, a Barbie Dream House, and some big Mommmy and Me doll sets. Too bad I am only here because I am traveling for work and couldn't buy anything big! I guess it could have been marked previously and I just found it too. Who knows!
  20. TimsWife - I bought a kitchen last week at 75% off. If you tell me what DCPI stands for, I can get the number for you!
  21. I should also add that I found Gerber sleepers half off today and printed off $1.00 off Gerber clothing/accessories coupon from the Target website making each 2-pack $4 (originally $10).
  22. I think I will keep checking every day until I get what I want then! The main store I go to (Andover, MN) did do baby today, so at least I can know that that is there baby day now. I never really realized that it was generally only one day per week until coming to this board. Thanks for the help!
