  4. Don’t know about here in US. But read my post up a couple from yours, we went to Canada. I’ve been 16 years without glasses now and love it. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  5. My husband and I have both had Lasik done, back in 1999 and 2002. We went to Canada to Lasik MD. They have several offices, don't know where you live. My husbands turned out 20/20 and mine was like 20/25. We since went back to see about the new procedures they do for those of us who .....well ummm may have trouble reading the smaller print material My eyes had changed a little in distance to like 20/30. They told me if I were to have anything done right now it would make the nearsightedness worse quicker. To wait about 5 more years then there are options. Our son had Lasik done about 3 years ago now and he paid a little more than us, but he had other issues and he bought the lifetime warranty. My husband and I paid around $1,000 which included pre-surgery, surgery, and post surgery appointments. Our son paid closer to $2,000. Regardless, it is about half the price as it is in the US. Quotes I have gotten here are $1,000 per eye minimum. We paid under a $1,000 for the whole thing. I would HIGHLY recommend it and them to anyone. The only issue I have had (and our son also) is driving at night the glare from lights and sensitivity to the sun. So, I have antiglare sunglasses, my husband and son have those HD Sunglasses. Anyways, food for thought! FYI: Got a text from Sears yesterday get 12.5% cashback in points on your layaway contract!
  6. Anybody know anything about hover boards? I have never really checked into them, but am considering it now.
  7. I personally think some kids loose too much with too long of a break. When we home schooled all of ours I only gave for sure the month of July off in the summer. I wanted the flexibility of a day off here or there when family visited or people were sick. I always thought it had to do with harvesting. Will you write one for me too since I missed a month? Contests are good! Don't know if you have an Aldi's near you, but I have noticed they have increased their "gift" section a lot since TRU closed.
  8. I have to admit Kohl's was never one of my must stop stops. But, I LOVE the throws we got last year! They are already on my list in my phone to get this year. Yes, I have an ongoing list in my phone notes. When someone mentions they like something or need something it goes in my list. Then I can watch for a good deal I also have a box in my closet that I add little things as I grab them now all year long....saving for the Saran Wrap Ball again!!!!
  9. Happy 4th Of July everyone!! bumper stickers would be neat (with an option to buy for those of us who messed up a month

  12. Someone needs to tell Mother Nature April showers not snow brings May flowers. On another note, if anybody has a young person interested in dancing I recommend renting the movie “Leap” it is really cute. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  13. Yeah I was hoping since March came in like a lion it would done snowing by the end of the month. It’s April now and still light flurries. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  14. What’s really sad is they were the last toy store near us. The local mom and pop one closed last year. And now this. Sad because some things you want to see in person before you buy. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL

  19. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! I read this the other day and have been giving this some thought. I assume you do not want one that has 3 or more pieces that might come apart while carrying it. So, I was thinking more like the urn base style tree for you. however, all the 6' / 7' ones I saw seem to be really skinny Will post again if I come up with something. Disregard saw the list posted after this one. Wow so much info, gotta come back and read this later.
  20. Wanted to thank my Secret Santa for all the wonderful gifts. I had previously posted a picture of everything that came, but waited till yesterday to open the wrapped ones. I love everything, you did an awesome job!

  22. I love my UPS drivers! I could tell you lots of good stories about multiple drivers this past year. I haven't had a bad UPS person come here yet. DD and I were just talking tonight that we should do Christmas gifts in January so we can shop day after Christmas sales and after return sales. There may come a day when those sales are better than BF sales ?!?!?
  23. I received my package today! I’m trying to hold out till Christmas to open the wrapped ones. By the way I Love the packaging material I’m saving it to reuse. Sent from my iPhone using GottaDEAL
  24. Looks great! One year after our house fire we lived in a really tiny place and all I could do that year was a little pre-lit table top tree. Doesn't matter the size of the tree, its the spirit right.
