In my experience with Kohls if you don't have a receipt they will give you the lowest price it has been (not sure what time limit). If the lowest it was is this sale B1G1 ...you would get 1/2.

I too got a Mario Allstars 25th edition, it was 29.99 at Kmart and you get a $10 gaming coupon to use later....last time I used this coupon towards a Wii point card (they were out when I was there yesterday however)....just a thought

No they don't disclose the location of the domestic shelter, a local store here has a drop off for them. They seem so grateful for the simple things that we take for granted like toothpaste, feminine products, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc.... I am so amazed at how many people do take the time and make the effort to help out in so many different ways!

We adopt an anonymous family (with our neighbor instead of exchanging gifts) through our school system (our secretary and school nurse handle it) and I think it teaches my kids that local families right in their school do not have near the things they have like boots, gloves, hats, clothes as well as a couple smaller toy wishes, not sure my kids totally get it, but I love doing it as mine have more than they need and are getting older now... With all the bargains we find (THANKS to this site and of Target and others), it is fun to share some and allows me to do a little more.... Also went to Walgreens and Rite Aid and picked up many pretty much free items which we are donating to a Domestic Violence Shelter, I was surprised over a short time how much we have to give!

I just got the phone call too uggh.... She claims they are an individual store who sells on Amazon and there was a mixup and this price was for the strategy guide and the NOT the game. She was nice and said that she was sorry for the mixup and would send a refund check along with a free nunchuk...uggh. I don't know about this I hope they send my refund ...she claimed it would be sent out tomorrow.. This is weird (it had an 805 area code too). I guess if I don't get the refund then I will report it to Amazon, I wondered about this as it seemed way tooo good to be true. What does everyone else think?????

I did this last year and I called our school and told them I would like to do a local family but would like to remain anonymous.....It was such a special experience. I did it with my neighbor, we had 3 children and a mom and we filled a bag for each of them and wrapped the gifts (she gave us lists of sizes and ideas) and as well we did a bag with cleaning supplies, paper products, and diapers. I dropped off the packages at the school (through a side door) and she had the family come pick it up (through a side door after school)---it was our school nurse who organized it here. You also might ask at a YMCA or a church. The only disappointing fact was that we never received a thank-you of any sort which I think she could have found a way to do this, but the person who gave us this family's name actually had tears in her eyes! We are going to do this again this year! Good luck, it is a wonderful thing to do.

Are you crafty? You could make her one of the fleece blankets that you tie...they have many patterns and they don't really take long to make. I watched on youtube how to make one and did baby ones last year for showers and made my kids them for college (MLB and NFL). I like to do the basket idea too...you do a movie basket with dvd, theater snacks, popcorn or whatever she likes to snack on.

I bought about a year ago. I do like it but the battery lasts for about one room and then you have to recharge it and you always have to leave it on the charger (however I think mine is a low model and some have a charging station that it goes back on its own to charge) Also, you need to empty and clean the brushes every time. It does do a decent job I think but again I don't have any pets inside. Another thing you have to pick up everything. It is nice that it goes under my bed as long as I have a path cleared for it lol. I think I got mine for $60 on a coupon sale at kohls. You missed them at Target a while back they went to 75% off there but I can't remember the price as I was tempted to get another. I like turning it on in the morning and letting it go or if I am doing wash or dishes something else is getting done too. I do like to run my Dyson once in a while as I think it does a better job. L10558 I think is my model. I looked at your model, it looks much nicer and it says it battery is for 3 rooms and it does have the charging dock. I hate to vacuum so it works for me as I try to run it in a room every day if I remember uggh. Good luck.

I try to stay even with my three kids. As for family members and their kids we try to keep a set amount usually $25-30. If I get a gift card I try to find one of my bargains to personalize it for them. I too don't know if you go by what you actually spend or what the item is really worth in the non-bargain market lol. However with that said I almost NEVER buy anything that isn't a bargain or I have a coupon or it being on sale.

At the Arlington Rd they had some furniture marked 75% off....I picked up 2 of the black 3 shelf bookcases for $6.24 ea. They had some desks reduced too at 75% but I didn't look at them closely. I didn't find any great deals in electronics ... not much else clearanced right now for me. The # on my receipt was 249050038 for the shelves...still bummed I never found any of the batteries and I really looked for them at 3 of our Targets...
