Thanks, that is an idea, is it hard to replace it, I am not good at these things but my hubby can do some It is just one of those days, I seem to be dropping everything today and I think I just want to restart the day lol! I decided to not finish my staining project today as it requires ladders I just don't know if I should put more money in it as it is 4 years old or so. If I do go new what specs do you think I should look for minimally? I saw one HP laptop on gotta deal which didn't sound bad to me....any preferences on brand....we have had Toshiba, Acer (do not like), Dell and my one son just got a Sony Vaio a year or so ago.....My kids say they don't love any of them, just get one...lots of help from them TIA

I accidentally dropped my laptop today.. when will I learn I can't do it all and haste definitely makes waste today. The screen is broke uggh! It was a few years old Toshiba Satellite but still...why couldn't it be closer to Black Friday and why couldn't I have found one of those clearanced netbooks at Target ? I am looking for something for home use...I mainly surf and look for deals and my son plays a few games on it (ToonTown mainly). Maybe a longer battery life would be nice but not necessary? I don't think I want refurbished...just me don't trust them. or just maybe I should get a desktop so maybe then I won't drop it uggh....it has just been one thing after another day! Any ideas of what I should look for...TIA:(

Thanks for the info. My son is looking forward to the Zelda and any Mario and would probably like Cartoon Network. He is 12 so he is in between not a kid but not old enough for other things. He has been waiting for this system for a while and I know he is going to get it, just a matter of time when lol.....spoiled, spoiled.

Do you have the list of the games coming out in May and June as there just is a couple my son would be interested in right now and maybe he should wait if there are better games coming out in May and June? Also school would be out then so he wouldn't be distracted lol. Decisions, decisions. Also he says an orange version is coming and he would love that but not sure if and when that will come out???? Thanks. I was hoping that there would be some kind of deal on the system besides trading in an old system. Gosh it isn't even Xmas and they are breaking me with the Pokemon games and now this system uggh, such is life. Would anyone know if you use your Target credit card, would the 5% savings be given?

Thanks. I almost got them from Amazon but my son didn't want to wait until Tues/Wed. Then we were going to go to Gamestop as he had a gift card he could use. However Toys R Us was the best I see, as it is BlGl 50% off and today you get a 2 pack Pokemon stylus set. We just got back and he ripped it open in the car and I doubt I will hear much from him today lol, luckily he did all his homework yesterday without me even saying anything hmmmm...good kid lol. He wants the guide book too but I told him I would have to check around first, any deals out there for this???? TIA

There was an unadvertised deal at Target if you bought 3 Diet Coke products (3 for $11 this week here) you got a free t-shirt, the display for me was at the endcap with the coke products. It was a cardboard display on the shelf and the shirts were rolled in a sealed bag which scanned at the register free if you bought 3 products. The t-shirt says I love (heart) Diet Coke. When I opened mine just now I see it is a large size and it is a little snug across you know where for me and I wondered if anyone has seen if there were different sizes, I LOVE Diet Coke so I of course had to have this t-shirt.

The purple dot is 50% today but be sure to scan as two of the Targets I went to did not have a sign up but still were 50% off. (went to Akron, Canton, and Massillon) They had the Yoshi and Mario backpack plush 75% off 207000998, 207000999 $3.74 at Akron but only 50% at Massillon and only 30% (I think) at Canton. At Akron they also had the collector Mario puzzles 550 pc for $2.48 207 001 030 but again not at the other two Targets. I asked the markdown team at Massillon and they said no they weren't marking that area today (who knows if that is the truth or not) and I also asked at the service desk to see if they would mark it as I had my receipt from the Akron store but no luck but I thought it was worth a try . Glad to find a couple things. Valentines was 50% off but I didn't look much there as I really didn't need anything. They were reorganizing the bulk stuff too but a lot is gone but there are few things I would grab for the "right" price lol meaning 50-75% off, I have given up on 90% off as it doesn't seem to happen very often anymore.

Forgot found Windex wipes 28 cound (had printable target coupon for .50 and had manuf coupon too) 003050404 $1.27 (reg 2.57) These were in the regular cleaning place with Windex if anyone is interested.

I found two small black computer desks by Room essential says compact office desk (#0098) 249050098 for $19.98 regular $79.99 not sure what they will be li.ke but figure I could use them for storage if nothing else (does anyone have them and like them?) ..also had gatorade 18 pack for $5.09 203800190 (was happy to find these)...! Wow everything is gone at Akron and Canton pretty much. nothing I would go back for at 90%....I found the Uno cards there on a hanger towards the endcap, but I bought all 6 left...wish I would have known they would price match the regular ones...my son loves this game and what a great stocking stuffer or donation for next year. I did make a couple returns that I had changed my mind on when it was 50% off and luckily I was given my full 50% back..... Also, whoever posted at Belden the tape behind the hotwheels (21.99 sets), it was still there but I didn't take any of it as I really did not need it and I know Nikol0234 (not sure this the right name sorry) was hoping to find some so I hope you get it (it was 50 cents I think?) I can't believe how everything is gone so quick this year.

OMG are I just realized I put good "look" instead of good luck....I haven't felt well and I guess it shows lol. Yes the lights are more expensive and we have a long house so we use a lot and I had never seen a set rust before these either.... No, I don't think so. I usually bring them in and lay them out for a few days and then pack them in a rubbermaid container. We had other sets of regular icicle lights (not LED) from previous years and never had any problems and I am sure I didn't do anything different. I definitely will keep that in mind for future packing up of outside things...thanks.

We used our LED icicle lights from Kmart last year (2008)and this year (2009) they were all rusty and half of the sets didn't work??? (Trim a Home brand) I purchased the Philips from Target this year at 75% off but wondered if they will do the same thing after one year....it won't be a bargain at 75% off if they all rust again in one year? My husband thinks it is because they are not using copper wire in them and using steel instead???? Just wondered if I am wasting my $$$ TIA

I popped in yesterday to one in Canton, OH and it was 50% off ...not sure when they will go lower.

I am in Canton and sometimes go up to Akron (went yesterday and got lights and a few other finds), but I too never find the paper goods or containers either....but I am happy with what I have found this year. However last year when everyone was finding the Scotch tape, I searched and searched and I did finally find some at the Belden store and was thrilled with that.

In the Canton area....I found the most at the Alliance store and the one on 62...I didn't bother to go to the one at the strip as I figured it was picked over. Not sure what they have now as people were grabbing (like me lol)....Good luck if you venture out.

I spent way too much ... but found sooo much! I got Christmas bows, lights, cookie cutters, several Tote xmas sets like valet, table top hockey, lights, a couple cologne...all 75% off. Dish towels and sets of 2 potholders - 37 cents each. Small handle paper bags were a quarter. Needless to say my car was filled and my storage closet will be getting reorganized and filled next week. Oh today they had Ziploc quart and gallon winter bags and saran wrap for $1 each and I had coupons.....got 12 total...I am stocked (these I found where the candy was and not in Xmas part) woo hoo...(didn't get the hefty plates yesterday and they said weren't marked down but none to be found today..hmm) Hope everyone is having a great start in the new year!
