  1. 1.) It's mine, no mine, no mine, no mine, etc. 2.) Shiny and bright. 3.) We're done!
  2. Thank you! What extra fun all for being a "black Friday" fan!
  3. I've been ordering quite a lot of items on their website and haven't had any trouble.
  4. I bought a Lego set at Walmart yesterday-shelf price was 49.99 so i showed the Walmart.com price which was 34.99 and they honored that, no problem.
  5. I use the "my shopping list" on gotta deal.com too. But I still enjoy the paper ads that hubby picks up on Thanksgiving morning.
  6. We put a lot of decorations up outdoors so we'll start early November (after Halloween so nothing gets vandalized). I usually do all the indoor decorations and put up the tree the weekend before Thanksgiving. Last year I did everything except the tree the first weekend in November and that really worked well for me. If kids come home for Thanksgiving then I'll wait for the tree until after they leave.
  7. If there is a good enough bargain then I have no trouble buying something for myself.
  8. Target, Walmart, Kmart, Kohl's, and Younkers are my favorites, but I enjoy them all!
  9. I'll have 16 total for 5 nights. I've already made and have frozen: sloppy joe meat mix pizza burgers ham balls cheeseburger soup a ham to these main dish items I'll add a salad each day, for the sandwiches a container of potato salad from Sam's Club, chips, and for the ham/ham ball meal I already have twice baked potatoes in the freezer and will add green bean casserole and rolls. I plan to make a frozen dessert and a couple of frozen pies. For breakfast I just provide toast, eggs, cereal, donuts and muffins and everyone is on their own. Lunch might be ham or turkey sandwiches. I got a great deal on the ground beef and ham ball mix and ham. Buy on sale. I like to cook ahead of time as much as I can so I'm not a slave to the kitchen when the company is here. Sounds like you really need to celebrate. I hope your husband is doing better.
  10. We do a lot of exterior light and décor so that goes up early Nov. so we can turn on the lights on Thanksgiving evening. This year I plan to put up all the interior decorations the first weekend of Nov. (I'm just so in the mood) but won't put up the tree until the weekend after Thanksgiving.
  11. Thank you so much for this post. We enjoyed our holiday Starbucks today.
  12. My favorite thing about BF is the sense of tradition. The tradition of an early trip to town to get the ads on Thanksgiving morning, pouring over the ads that afternoon, and hitting the stores early on BF with family members.
  13. 1. "Large screen" takes on a whole new meaning! 2. Which aisle, which aisle??!!!! 3. Why isn't this line moving?
