  1. #1 Remember these things called DVD? #2 5:21am; Target done. Now what? #3 Camping out for BF is a thing of the past.
  2. I agree that sales throughout November will again be a thing. Not my favorite, but my investment in BF continues to diminish.
  3. You managed to post with a few days to spare; I'm catching the last 28 hours in the month [emoji51]
  4. Happy New Year to all. Wonder if I'll actually stay awake until midnight tonight, but I think 2021 will arrive regardless.
  5. 46/32. This is the first BF I can remember lows at or above freezing in a very long time.... and I don't even be waiting outside in lines for anything this year [emoji849]
  6. I'm going to Menards today, but doubt it'll be available in the store. Now is about the time we see it.
  7. I have a pair of Nest3 (for about 4 years now). Had one stop connecting to wifi. Nest sent a replacement. They work fine for me; nothing special.
  8. I barely even have a game plan this year. With all the sales being so spread out and weeks of deals leading up, it's more difficult to make a plan. Still a few things I'll try to get online.
  9. I know that feeling. For as less busy as this world has supposed to have made us, I seem to be busier than ever. Glad to come back and see some friendly folks still here.
  10. I have no idea what I'll be shopping for this year, but there's a few things I need and it's great to come back here and discuss deals.
  11. Switch bundle shipped.
  12. Gamestop advertised "Nintendo Switch Micro SD cards". Is that any different than a "SanDisk Micro SD Card" with a Nintendo Switch logo stamped on it?
  13. I usually see Amazon put their advertised prices on Thu/Fri, while other items just randomly drop to match other retailers' sales when their sale goes live.
  14. This one? https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-3985263/product.jsp
  15. I think this is the kohls one... https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-3985263/product.jsp
  16. I'm not saying that I'm unhappy about it; just that it's not what it used to be.
  17. 1. I don't have a huge wish/buy list this year. 2. 80% of the deals are already live. 3. Most deals aren't even sold out, yet.
  18. Is it possible to tell which Switch deals are the new model and which ones are the old model? I have to assume they are ALL the old models, but I'd like to try to confirm before deciding which store to go to. Any thoughts?
  19. Honestly, not much. Most of those items are still in today's ads for the same prices (movies, clothes, etc.), or the items are obsolete (GPS, TV, digital camera). I might go with the V Audio Rocker on the last page for $33.
  20. Well, I didn't expect crowds anywhere except Joann today, and they have virtually the same ad they do every year. So, I was a little surprised.
  21. Everything I ordered from Sunday/Monday arrived yesterday or today.
  22. I would encourage you to go to blackfridaycharts.com to see them for yourself, but here's what I see: Staples, Office Depot, & Best Buy all have a ~$450 machine that's either i3 or AMD A9 ish. This will be bare minimum to get by, but decent deals on those. Then, Staples & Best Buy have ones around $699 with a bump in the processor to i5; Best Buy being the better deal of those two with 12GB RAM. I think that's your best bet for a machine that will last a few years, but if you're on a budget, one of those first 3 should get by for a high schooler for now.
  23. That doesn't really narrow it down much. High schoolers do all kinds of stuff these days. Solely for academic purposes? Photo/Video/Audio Editing? Computer Science? Gaming?
  24. Agreed. Too late to re-work plans to get a new cell phone with only 2 days to prepare.
  25. Edit: continue discussion of crowds here: http://forums.gottadeal.com/topic/302101-what-did-you-buy-how-were-the-crowds-share-your-experiences/ - Brad ----- Joann was no more busy than a normal day. I didn't wait for fabrics, but even that line only have 2-3 person queue. I got there around 8:30am I checked out in less than 5 minutes.
