I'm not sure I agree with that... There's extensive results of LED light bulbs that specifically say "Non-dimmable" in the title of the product (e.g. here).

iPod button takes me here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/promo/bf-ipod-and-mp3-players-147648 Dynex takes me here: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/promo/bf-cell-phone-accessories-148215 Both are valid bestbuy pages, but no sale prices yet on the items. Those are the only 2 'Shop Now' buttons I see on Pg 4. Using Chrome.

I'd always choose Sony over Panasonic in BD players. They are the long-standing best in the business. I do feel that Samsung is catching up with them. My Sony BD player after a year and a half died and we hardly used that one. The same player I've had for 4 years now is still going strong. $10 is worth it to me, but I'm also considering the Samsung from other places that have it on sale.

In my experience with the 'Shop Now' buttons I've clicked in the ad, it takes me to the page for the item(s); just no sale prices up yet. There's only the 8 items that are available for the BF sale price now.

Saw this in the Staples ad. I only got my dual-band 3 years ago! Anyone up to speed and have the quick version of what this 3rd band is for? Looks like it could just start flapping those antennae and take off!

You're only kidding yourself if you think it'll only be midnight before the sale goes live for all your items.
-
I think I remember Staples/Office Depot sometimes having deals on them, too. I don't think there's enough of a market anymore for BF deals.
-
Not the same. You're still waiting on Sears
-
You would just need one or the other. Sling TV will work on both. https://www.sling.com/devices/offers (It doesn't list the Fire Stick, but that's Fire TV with less hardware)

It says "All day Thursday" again, so we can expect around midnight ET Wednesday night. Looking back from last year, things were a bit delayed and people didn't seem to be getting items at sale prices until about 3 or 4am ET. I think Macys rolls the items over one at a time so it may depend on the item you're looking for. GottaDeal.com opens up a forum dedicated to online sales and a thread specific for each site as we get closer, so stay tuned around the weekend before BF.

I've found that yes with a Web ID, it will be available online. I'd be interested to know if that was ever not the case for anyone.

LOL. I can just picture you reading the title out loud to yourself from the ad image as you type it into the listing DB, "LG Wireless fmnnrehsktenskhielppqiwi.<tab> $39.99"
-
I would be extremely worried they would be giving away my item before I even got there to pick it up, and then just cancel my order on me. It's certainly worth trying, but I wouldn't bank on it if that's an item you really wanted to get.

You all do an exceptional job!! No criticism whatsoever!

With the desk background, and the horrible glare on multiple items from a back angle of the picture, and smudges on some of the ink.... ah, good times.

I'm excited to explore beyond Chromecast for streaming. I don't use it for much, but WatchESPN and sharing the GalaxyTab screen with the TV. I don't really do any gaming (not need for a full console other than wired ethernet), have Amazon Prime, and likely will get a Fire Stick this year and try it out.

36 for the Black Friday (Thursday) sale, and 2 for the Monday Nov 10th preview sale.

It is virtual. She's allowed to get there at 3am and still have dibs on the doorbusters We'll allow it. Edit: Plus, it's Chick-Fil-A, so we'll extra allow it; if not encourage it!

I would have to agree with @jerica388 and the year that I got everything on my list and saved a bundle! This was back when there were no Thursday openings and some things were starting to transition to online, but still majority in store. I went to at least 9 stores in 4-5 hours and crossed everything off the list. Last year was particularly memorable as I was able to snag something for a follow GottaDealer from Menards and ship to Florida (since they don't have any Menards). And also we did the adopt-a-family for the first time and was able to get a mother and her 3 children over $500 of retail items for under $210; all things from their wish list. I don't have any overly BEST or WORST stories, but generally a lot of good memories of people helping others out and generally being nice. My worst memories consist mostly of times where you'd be one of the first 50 people in line about an hour before it opens, and by the time it opens, you're about 150th; times where you're wrapped around the store in line and noone stops the people that pull up AT opening time and just walk from their car to try to get in the door without going to the back of the line, and of course the online retailer website debacle of sites going down or not going live until 4 hours after they are supposed to so that none of us get any sleep (and I usually end up with a cold as a result). Nothing major

And the slow crawl to when the Menards ad finally comes out...
-
I second that!! They are almost always a bundle so they can lump in things you don't really need, but makes it seem like a much better deal. Often, you might be able to find the body and a lens on sale elsewhere and get it for less without the extra unnecessary "bonuses". I'm looking for the Nikon D7200 to show up, but not expecting to find it. I currently have the Nikon D5000 and have loved it for 6 years, but now looking to step up.

Cameras are semi hot. I would imagine there's enough for the initial wave that goes in the store, but I wouldn't expect to get there a few hours after opening and still have some left. I would guess that would be a deal you can snag online from Target.

I'm not sure. It's always updated when I wake up at 7am ET, but that still leaves a big window. It may vary day-to-day, as well depending on how automated it is.

Yes, I think the Fire 7" is a good deal at BB, but you're also banking on either getting it online (we all know how reliable that goes) or standing in line on turkey day. So, it depends on how bad you really want it and if Fire makes a difference. I'm not sure of the current deal but $20 off 6" sounds pretty good. Even if it does drop elsewhere, won't be much more.

Is it still the same HDMI cable that can be used with 4K, or does that change now too? Are there 4K-only input ports on the TV?
