    All 4 carriers?! Ok' date=' now I have lots of questions! Will it be available from all 4 in Ohio, or just WI? If so, can I get 2? (My husband and I are both up for renewal, but he won't be with me) How do I do the two-year-contract thing - do you do it in the store, or can you wait? Also, I am not a Sam's club member, but my mother-in-law, who is shopping with me, is. Can she buy this for me, or is this something I'd have to buy myself because of the contract?     I'm not sure about the SAMs Club membership thing but whoever has the contract has to do the upgrade. If the contract for both phones is in your name then your good. If one or both is in you husbands name then he would have to be with you. Unless your service is in your mothers name then she can't buy it for you.

    I know. I'm definitely not getting my hopes up. I think I'll swing by the Sprint store sometime in the next few days and see what they have to say.

    My friend called Sprint today and they told her she could upgrade now for an extra $50 too. You may be in luck! ;)

    Just renewed my Sam's Club yesterday to get the VIP invite - Had to get the Business Plus as just the business membership alone doesn't qualify for the invite. They write your membership number on the invite and said it would be checked against your membership card to get in that night.

    This is the email I got.

     

    My friend that works at SAMs is going to ask for the details tomorrow.

    I have an unusual tablet question, and I'm sorry if this seems basic. Looking at the Samsung for DD11 and the Nabi 2 for DS3. I see a lot of apps for the Ipad which I guess is through ITunes. Is there a way to download an ITunes app using their store onto an Android-based tablet? Kind of how you can get mp3 files on ITunes and use them on other mp3 players besides Ipods.

     

    Thanks for the information. My doctor has ordered me to rest and no stress until we figure out my heart issues, so I'm hoping to score one of these BF deals online :)

    No you can not download iTunes or the Apple App Store onto an Android. You can download the Google Play Store and the Amazon App Store. There are many apps that are the same as the Apple App Store though. Most company's make apps for iOS and Android.

    Lol congrats! This is a really hard pregnancy for me this time. I can barely handle a trip to Walmart for toilet paper. Lol :P

    I am not eligible for an upgrade with Sprint until Jan 1st. I called and asked about what it would take to be able to upgrade early. The guy said that I could pay $50 to upgrade before my eligibility date. He said you could only do that at a Sprint store' date=' so the S3 would cost about $100. I am thinking about doing that, but will double check and make sure I wasn't given wrong info from Sprint.[/quote']

     

    Wow I didn't think they did that anymore. Be prepared for them not to honor what that one guy said. I bet they will tell you they don't do that. Good luck.

    Congratulations to you too (and the other mommas-to-be on this thread)!

     

    You ladies who are braving the crowds make me feel like such a wimp! I completely admire you! Since everything is opening so early, I might hit some stores up at midnight and then head right to bed. Last year I went out 3 separate times on Black Friday and finished almost all of my shopping. The thought of being on my feet that long scares me!

    Some stores are opening at 8-9pm Thanksgiving night. If your state allows it. :)

    I'm pregnant too but I'm not sure how much BF shopping I'll be doing. I'll only be 18 weeks, but I'm not sure I have the patience for the crowds. I think I *might* have the stamina. I'm going to play it by ear. There's nothing that I absolutely have to get so far, so I might just do the online thing in my pjs.

    Congrats! I'm 36w now and even if I last that long I know I will NOT be able to handle the crowds. My plan is online for what I can and I do have to venture out to SAMs for phones but they shouldn't be bad. :)

    How do you find out if they are getting more. I was thinking of going to Walmart on Saturday after BF and showing them the 3 day sale with the lower price and have friend buy it then with his discount.

     

     

    You can do that cuz I don't know what they are going to be on sale for. The electronics manager told me about the sale and that they are getting more, that's why they don't have many in stock right now.
