  1. I'm listening to it right now.
  2. Totally brilliant! YouTube is an awesome tool for reaching the masses. Subscribed, Rated Commented. Good Idea!
  3. My worst experience on BF was at Wal-Mart. Waiting in line for 2 hours plus, I finally get inside. I want one thing and one thing only, a game boy advance for my DS5. They had a huge lot of of them, so no worries on not getting one. At that time I really didn't have any other door busters I needed to attend so I shopped. Silly me, I left my cart beside the rounder I was looking at and a man snagged my game boy from the cart. He didn't run, he didn't laugh.... it was kinda scary. I yelled "HEY". He stopped turned and said "what are you gonna do about it?" So being a skiddish 20something, I did nothing. My son did get his game boy, but I didn't get it at a good price. Lesson learned, beware of EVERYONE, and be AWARE of EVERYTHING!!
  4. My color scheme really isn't a scheme but it consists of traditional Christmas colors. Red, green, blue, gold and silver. I can't get enough of the Rankin and Bass based ornaments...Rudolph Clarice Charlie in the Box, Kris Kringle, Jessica, Bumble etc. ect.

It may sound like alot of work but in the end you'll be very happy you did.
  6. My pet peeve is people who allow line jumpers. You've been standing in line with the people around you for hours and then a few minutes before the doors open their friends show up and think it's ok, because they've been waiting and "holding" their place in line.
  7. Webkinz is a great website/activity for children. But warning to new Webkinz parents - this website is like heroin to children, lol. For the first 6 months I'd literally have to pull my children off the computer. No amount of time was enough on the website, they always wanted more. But on the upside, it is very educational, well monitored and most of all fun.
  8. I shop with my 3 sisters-in-law, we split up 2 and 2. Knock on wood, there's never been a door buster we didn't get!!
  9. Frigid early morn Hot cappucinno warms me Door busters await
  10. I not only have one, but two. I am a part time bartender and I clean an office for some extra cash. I started saving the earnings from those this week and figure by December 15, I should have a pretty hefty nest egg to finish out the season with no stress!!
  11. I must be behind on my lingo, but I'm a bit confused what some of these stand for/mean, for instance... DH DD DS The store abbreviations I pretty much get, but while reading posts I run into these and don't know what they mean. Thanks!
  12. 1. Release the ads early, no big secret we're all going shopping, let the excitement build, the longer you have to look, the more we may buy. 2. Security obviously placed to deter wrong doers early. 3. Maps to the locations of door buster items. 4. For the people in the frigid areas of the country - coco and or coffee in line. 5. Retailers, have all your check out lanes open and ready. 6. Door Buster items - list how many of the items you have in stock. (Maybe on the map) 7. Retailers don't put door buster items high on a shelf where nobody can reach them. 8. Retailers make aware your policy on price matching. That's a good start, I may have more.
  13. Well judging from that article it sounds like Walmart is really going to try this year to make shopping a good experience with their prices. I hope they're just not blowing smoke and their ad sucks again!!!
  14. After cleaning up from the Thanksgiving Feast, and taking in some football we gather round the table. I shop with my 3 sisters-in-law we sit and laugh and chit chat and strategize our plan of attack for the coming morning. Lists and flyers cover the table. We eat cracker pie and are usually so excited we can't get to bed at decent time. Good times....Good times.
  15. I have the HARDEST time finding the ad scans page! I wish there could be a link on the BF main page rather than going thru the forums. Or, maybe someone could help me find it in the forums....I get really excited when a new ad is posted, but then my excitement is replaced with frustration because I CAN'T FIND THE SCANS!!!!! HELP ME!!!
  16. HECK NO - Deals aren't that great.
  17. I was out for 2 and a half hours once outside Walmart. 20 degrees outside - FROZEN
  18. This is my relaxe time, coming here to mull over my lists and strategies, I"M PUMPED, I can't wait!!!!!!
  19. Thank God my husban'd family introduced this Glorious day to me!
  20. Cash ONLY! Credit cards are only for crunch time at the end.
  21. I am extremely disappointed. There's nothing I'm going to be running through a store for. The deals just aren't there!
  22. Just as i entered the line, there were two employees handing out 1- a map, and 2- a 2 sided sheet of new lower prices on electronics and toys, dvd player was 68 not 79 and laptop was 378 not 488 just for a couple of examples - do you suppose this will be an incentive for next year?
